I think he wants it for the PS5 version of the game. As far as I'm aware, it doesn't support mouse and keyboard.
It would be nice if the camera didn't reset every time you changed a part on the car after it respawned.
Devs PLEASE make it so that the player character's heads look in the direction of the first person camera while in a vehicle, this would genuinely be a hilarious feature. I wish I was able to pull up next to my friends and stare them down from my pigeon
One thing That I noticed in a while and could only be fixed by the devs is that all FWD based AWD cars in game, like the Old Pessima, the FCV and the Legran/Wendover/Lansdale trio are setup wrong. AWD crars on FWD platforms with transversely mounted engines, mostly use a transfercase connected on the front differential, so it comes AFTER the Front final drive ratio. Because of that, having multiple rear axle ratios is completely unrealistic. The Front drive ratio argument should change the ratio of the transfercase in game, or the torsionReactorF's gear ratio, but with it coming BEFORE the transfercase powertrain device, not after. On that layout, you only need one set of final drives, not 2, which would not only simplify the parts tree of those cars and any mod that follows it, but also would be easier for people to do custom AWD builds, without having to change the rear axle ratio, because IRL, you wouldn't. ANY rear diff paired with the PTU that came with it, would sync up directly with the front axle, because te torque the PTU gets, is already multiplied.
Deliberate. As per the patch notes: I personally welcome this standardization of exhaust volume levels, but if you really, absolutely need an uncomfortably loud exhaust, try using exhaustAudioGainChange at the exhaust tip node.
Very low res lods and textures after some time playing on PS5 I've been having a blast with the PS5 version of the game, I love it and playing it on PS5 feels like a dream come true, finally. I'm having a problem on Career Mode: after playing for some time, the player car and map textures get "locked" into a low res mode. Sometimes going into a race or a mission solves the problem, sometimes it stays like that. Just wanted to report this. Hope it gets fixed soon. Thanks to all the dev team, you're the best! It's the base, slim PS5 btw...
