    This area has fences that have a tendency to grab the car and kinda lift it.

    Does ripping the exhaust system off a car actually change the sounds? I'm not hearing anything different, also no sound change when piston rings go or head gaskets go.

    I wouldn't really expect those anyway if the engines still don't have proper sounds yet.

    They noted in their video on the thermal dynamics that there were sounds to those events IIRC

    2 things.

    1. For some reason, the controller bindings for the Xbox 360 Controller sometimes switches my handbrake button (A button, space-bar on keyboard) to a respawn-in-space button (still A button, Ctrl+R on keyboard). After 1 minute or so, the controller bindings return to normal. I haven't tried this problem on the keyboard yet.

    2. In the photo, it shows both the Block damage and the Cylinder Wall damage. Is even possible? 1,500,000 Damage? lol

    ok the trunk also implodes after driving with that broken light I have this for quite some time now and it gets annoing

    if you want the engine to overheat in neutral the only vehicle that seems to work for me is the Covet Beater

    That has been around for a while, it isn't really a bug except the glass on the headlights looking weird at that angle or at night.

    Since you've made it so that oil can burn (I noticed that once the oil hits it's flashpoint, the temperature rapidly rises, simulating combustion), why not create a fire at the engine when this happens? Or would the fire be too small to be noticed from outside the engine?

    Some of the lightposts have decals stretched all up the side of them:

    and if you have an oil cooler installed (to prevent rod failure), the engine's temp will keep increasing infinitely without an engine failure, to comically high temps.

    the engine block is 800 C, way higher than any engine could actually function, though the Sunburst pictured still drives. I could go higher, but I think you get the point. Someone else a few pages ago got the engine block temperature higher than the boiling point of steel.

    So my machine isn't CPU-bound, but I'm having framerate issues in the town in ECUSA. My temperatures are reasonable and CPU and GPU usage are near 100%. Running latest driver (the one with Vulkan support) and in maximum performance mode. Tried everything as I see.

    With high settings, plus dynamic reflections, it's low 40s and drops to 30s. Terrible stuttering.

    This is normal settings, no dynamic reflections. As low as I'd like to go, any lower and it's Low settings and trees are billboards until you're ten meters from them.

    This is with low-ish settings, anti-aliasing and bloom off. Shading might be normal, but it doesn't affect FPS.

    From some locations it's particularly bad, near the edges of the town, looking in, it's 40 fps with lots of stuttering no matter how low I put the settings (excluding Lowest)

    So if the next update could fix the poor performance in ECUSA, that'd be great. With a GTX 970 + i5 4690, I'd hope to at least get 60FPS at normal settings @ 1080p.

    Well this is a lot worse than I thought. I understood the lag around ECA in the town with multiple collision objects but not this.

    These collision updates have made a reasonably capable system totally unplayable on anything besides empty gridmap :|

    Definitely not worth the (benefit?) of larger collision distances. Either they need to be seriously optimised or I need a way to return it to 10 meters.
