Or road signage at the very least. I've gotten lost so many times trying to drive from the dirt track to the concrete arena. In fact, the entire map is in need of a little attention. All the existing arenas at pretty good, but the dirt track is a little too tight. Because it's nearly square, the turns are very tight in the figure eight, and there's no way to really get up to speed. And, as long as I'm at it, I'd like to suggest the addition of an arena entirely covered in either dirt or shallow mud, in order to represent the vast majority of real-life derby arenas. Fortunately, there's plenty of blank space currently existing on the map. The picture on the left is Derby arenas today, and the one on the right includes the proposed changes: I get that the map should remain small and simple in order to allow for the spawning of many AI vehicles without too much trouble, but since the Derby map is one of the oldest maps currently in-game, it is possible that they may be offset by optimizing the rest using new techniques developed during the creation of more recent maps.
I seem to have an unusual problem that may affect other bug reports: Safe mode doesn't seem to be activating from the launcher. I cleared my cache and verified the game's integrity, but all eighteen of my mods remain when I use the "Safe Mode" button.
I assume that your mods are installed correctly? (zips placed in the Documents\BeamNG.drive\mods\ folder)
The "Intersection 2" scenario is working great now that its been fixed! It's a real challenge to complete now that an actual car-on-car impact is a requirement for success. There is one thing that still bugs me though. The cars in the scenario icon are both gray, while the cars in the scenario itself are brightly coloured. Is this discrepancy intentional?
Sometimes, the loading screen will get stuck on spawning player and you can hear the car revving and stuff. When you press escape, it will send you DIRECTLY back to the menu and you can still hear in game sounds. Then you load the same or different map and frames are killed terribly and the screen is still stuck on spawning player.
For some reason, it seems to be impossible to drown vehicles in this particular section of the swamp. The other sections seem to be working as intended.
Barstow chase cam is offset. --- Post updated --- And new sound system has one bug. When sound source is behind you then you can´t hear it. For example you can´t hear engine sound of vehicles such as civetta or sbr4 when you are in cockpit view.
In quickplay mode, I can't seem to be able to add apps to the UI even with competitive conditions checked off.
Same thing happens to me, except when I switch vehicles, some of them offset the chase cam. I posted a couple screens earlier about the problem. To devs: Does the chase cam have any relation to the cockpit cam? The offset MAY be related to the change in cockpit cam position also changing the chase cam position. I see this being possible due to the chase cam being added at a later date, so it might be using variables from the cockpit cam.
