Remember how this thread (and the mod) was started in 2023? Almost a full year before we even had a hint of an official pre-war car.
I hope the release of the vanilla pre-war car makes work easier for you! I for one am still SUPER hyped for this
I personally don't see a problem. If there is room for ETK I-series, Bruckwell Lagran and Ibishu Pessima(the older one). Those things are basically the same car. 1980 sedan. Plus Everton is quite a bit older. I actually consider this a good thing. Now this mod has something to play with.
A german 80s AWD speedy boi, an 80's fwd japanese econobox, and a 80's American fwd grocery getter, are not the same cars...
Now that the Nine has come out, its a good time to put my 2 cents in.. (again) The nine is all nice and well made and I am happy to have a pre war car in this game BUT I still prefer your project. Your car is a bit older, so the styling is more classic, while the nine is already looking distinctively american, the Everton still looks like any pre war car and could also fit the role of any european car of that time. What could also set it apart from the nine are the different body styles. The ones we saw on this thread are already looking gorgeous and there is so much room left for different ones. Luckily the hotrods are maybe somewhat out of the way now that the nine features mostly hot rod builds... I am really happy about all the body styles mentioned in your road map, especially that there is a "speedster" and "boat tail". These setups just scream for customization. Having different parts available and building a totally custom pre war speedster is a wet dream for me. No videogame (at least none I know of) features anything like that. I know its a bit far fetched but things like a longer frame with a straight eight engine would make for some pretty death traps. I don´t know if I am the only one but if I see a well made speedster build its an insta-buy for me. And another word on the sounds we have been speaking about here... just my opinion.. the V8 sound of the Nine are fine. Just use it its fun. The 4 cylinder sound could be somewhat improved I think. Its okay but idk, could be a bit louder and rougher with some pops and bangs. Its an ancient car nevertheless. Oh and please... let us have some rally/overlanding parts ... I wish you all the best for this project
Not so same I-Series is the 1980s German luxury midsize sedan Legran is the 1980s American midsize sedan Pessima is the (almost) 1980s Japanese midsize sedan
