Must have got the files muggled up, as for the normal maps it was just my game importing them, pretty sure they work fine after a restart
This is great! I'm so happy this mod is getting revived! Would it be possible to bring back the non-synchronized transmission? I remember in WhyBeAre's review of the car, it had some amazing features that were way ahead of it's time, but they seem to be missing now. I hope you can eventually add back those features in the future.
I think I remember finding some jbeaming in the t series transmission that would let you recreate that but it was disabled but seemed to work if I edited it
Uh oh, that's not right! Have you tried clearing your cache, and making sure you have no other versions of the mod installed? Is anyone else encountering this issue?
Do you have to have the LUA file as well as the ZIP file? I just downloaded the file and moved it to my mods folder. --- Post updated --- Do you have to have the LUA file installed as well? I just downloaded the mod file and moved it to my mods folder.
Nope, the lua file is just there as an archive incase someone wants to look at it and figure out how to get it working in the current version. So you don't need it, I should probably make that more clear in the post
if its the same issue ive had, you probably still have files from an older version of the mod. if you go in your local appdata folder where beamng.drive cache, vehicle configs and etc is located, in the vehicles folder you should find another folder named auriga. inside that folder there should be a material file. delete that. also just make sure you dont have any older versions of the mod interfering in your mods folder with this updated version. hope this was helpful!
You've done an excellent job remastering this mod. Well, aside from one hiccup where there were no textures. But, it's still good to see this mod back. I've also been wondering what Auriga is based off of in the BeamNG.drive lore itself. I'd take it's based on Packard since Packard makes cars with the 7.8 litre V12 in real life. Cadillac is also a possibility except for the fact that their V12 engine is 6.9 litres in size whereas the Auriga Heron has a 7.7 litre V12.
I have not tried this version released by Joobles, As My nvidia based Linux PC had been BeamNG .fried until it died.. I have been using this mod just about every time I play BeamNG since it was re-released back in 2019 with some modifications, I have not been able to get the flying parts to work though but the Turbo, Nitro and Welded Diff works fine, Sometimes it drops the transmission when used and abused harshly, It would be awesome if the add-on mod by R4nking called Turbo+Twincharge everything would work on the Auriga Heron, Also it would be awesome if the CJD Special Tunes 7 spd seq box could be used on the Auriga Heron as once it's unrealistically enhanced with Turbo & Nitro, it makes enough power to spin the tires for days. Here a crappy no edit OBS recording with terrible sound. Auriga Heron starts at 7:19
