i mean, ye i guess it was more of something to add if you got bored. because IRL, somebody would stance a car like this. we all know that guy
Work in Progress. No twin turbo's, probably no turbo's at all. Only a supercharged i4 and a V8 which should cover all your power needs. Custom versions yes. Stanced versions, probably not The textures aren't even done yet I appreciate your offer but I will make the skins myself or ask certain people whether they want to do it. But that will come last. Those people will get a message from me. I don't want to sound like a dick but you don't have to send me a message, I will message those people myself. Keep it on topic please On topic: I am in the middle of the end of a quartile so I am studying a lot these weeks. But I managed to take a break from dynamics and other courses and decided to do some stuff. What I did today: Rigidified the front of the frame, there are (more) structural beams from the radiator to the frame now, this will stop the frame from twisting on very bumpy terrains. It is MUCH stiffer now. And it doesnt have much stress: Moved the rear fenders to the body. I cut the rear fenders yesterday and improved the mesh. I also worked on the front suspension model and did some jbeam tweaks to it. It needs some more to reduce vibrations under braking but I want to keep some of them for "realism". I also drove on Italy: I also did some work on the rear suspension but that's not that interesting.
Working on the mesh, trying to do some damper/spring tuning and other jbeam improvements. Still have to do so much mesh work
That would sound so cool on this thing or at least the idle sound and start up along with revving. It actually driving didn't sound as good but I could live with it.
Don't get your hopes up. It is not close to release. I'm currently trying to find the right spring values for the front and rear suspension since they don't translate from irl to beamng 1:1 . I also added some drum brakes to the car and I want to add the brakelines and interior components today but I don't think that I will have enough time for that anyways, as seen on the development screens: new tire textures were made:
I think they should, but there are multiple challenges, if there is something else that also takes load from wheel, like bumpstop or some other beam with spring or damping value, that affects it, also if motion ratio is not exactly like 1:1 IRL, which can be from multiple reasons really, some angle is bit different etc. then that can affect it. But most I think are matching pretty much, just when motion ratios are in play, then things get kinda interesting. You can get motion ratio from this, if you have not done it manually already: https://www.hypercoils.com/spring-rate-calculator/ If your jbeam then has same motion ratio, as real thing and you put real spring rate in, it _should_ work, if not, then it is possible that something else adds or substracts.
