apologies, i haven't slept. beamng tends to act funny especially with lighter things, so im sure there was some experimentation put into it as well. not only that, but it obviously wasn't a full long term project like the fintray has been.
Well, for one, it's hard to imply humor in text since we don't have inflection or tone to go off of. Also, it could be an experiment in jbeam while still being a box with wheels. The Vivace is a unibody, which isn't new by itself in BeamNG, but it has proper stressed members and distributed loads rather than hidden ladder-frame rails nested inside the body.
In all fairness, Blijo did include "limit" in his statement, so I wouldn't compare it to something so advanced like the vivace.
Okay, let me get this straight: Making something in BeamNG isn't easy. Making something very light and rigid in BeamNG is hard. The Roadsport is a very light car. This means it explores the boundaries of what is possible with the engine. Try to make something as light and rigid yourself maybe instead of trying to start some kind of drama. As for the Fintray Roadster: I'm working on it, but not often due to personal reasons.
That’s fine, life comes before modding. nowhere did I intend to start drama. I have right to an opinion on the forums. Now, on the other hand, yes I agree with you. But I don’t see the boundaries engine wise as you view them. Yes, I understand modding isn’t easy, and Jbeaming a light yet rigid car isn’t exactly easy either. But engine experimentation was the main point of that project? I’m not following. That may just be because I’m more of a suspension and small part jbeamer, not larger scale like engine and unibody (although I have a good understanding of it). I just need help understanding you POV. And as for the causing drama part, didn’t intend to. I just wanted to ask why you were so jumpy at that person for capitalizing the J of your name.
Ok. I understand now. And if the author is reading this. I am not rushing you take as much time as you need! Thanks again!
You also did this on another thread too. ONCE AGAIN, WIP = Work in Progress. I know you are new but I just told you. STOP.
Hey man I see you're new, and I wanna point out the last few posts on a thread are usually very helpful in telling you what's happening/if the mod is broken/outdated.
Doing some work on the frame textures. I'm quite satisfied with these results, even more because I hate texturing because I can't get a good workflow. I also hate it because my pc likes to crash while baking things in blender for some reason.... I might do some more texturing next week but that depends on my plans.
I made some mistakes last week when I wanted to unwrap the body parts of the Fintray. This meant that I did a lot of work for nothing . Or for "practice"... It's not like unwrapping all these parts and fixing the small mesh issues is my favourite activity. So that is a bit of a setback. I hope I can make some progress tomorrow though. Today I did something else, I took the car and turned into a keychain like my MX-5(and Jaguar by now) keychains:
