So the openables just arent a thing for me apparently. Does it have to do with having the enhanced interior cam mod on?
Two possible issues I can think of. 1. You have the wrong version of the mod. The version on the start post is outdated. Download form HERE 2. Some other mod is interfering with this mod. But this is very unlikely, because the doors work the same way as with vanilla cars. I will probably do that in the near future. Is planned. Soon™ Make sense, especially with the Antarctica version. It's on my idea list, but probably not any time soon.
few ideas: original 1100cc motor 36hp Challenge's HomePage inspired config? thought it would be funny more separated trims instead of just being sorted by engine size also rear brakes seem to lock up easier then fronts but its rear engined so idk also diesel engine seems to have more power then the original one that was posted (36hp and almost same torque as 1200, orig specs afaik show around like 24 hp) --- Post updated --- also sometimes the base engine backfires (not herbie, stock 1200cc), also according to some specs 63 weight was more around 1600 lbs? no idea if this is accurate tho also foundsome documents on some model year changes etc 1963 VW Beetle Specs and Technical Details - Kairous VW Parts (kairousinc.com) --- Post updated --- also read a bit ago earlier beetles had no synchro on first which i think can be modded in now with the new update, ill post a jbeam of a few things if i can figure it out later
the mod's broken , when i spawn it , it's hubcaps and other parts have no texture , the interior camera's broken and the seats are gone
1963 Volkswagen Beetle technical and mechanical specifications (conceptcarz.com) also this website seems to have some good quick info for diff model years --- Post updated --- put together a few things, 1100cc motor, alt gearboxes, alt diesel, worn and blown long blocks as well --- Post updated --- also i think paint codes are off, they just seem to metallic to me for what is a barebones car. (possibly modify colors from cars like autobello etc?) after some research, supposedly beetles came in 2 trims, standard and deluxe TheSamba.com :: Beetle - Late Model/Super - 1968-up - View topic - 1975 Basic Bug 110 not sure if this applied to earlier models but i can find evidence of standard and deluxe models in the 50s so i assume so --- Post updated --- TheSamba.com :: View topic - 1975 Basic Bug 110 --- Post updated --- TheSamba.com :: Beetle - 1958-1967 - View topic - What is the difference between a "Standard" & a "Deluxe" Sedan? --- Post updated --- TheSamba.com :: Beetle - 1958-1967 - View topic - What is the difference between a "Standard" & a "Deluxe" Sedan? --- Post updated ---
Saw the update post like 2 minutes after posting that reply. I'm so used to people updating the original post lol. Thank you.
Impressive this is certainly the most detailed Mod in beamng so far, the model is excellent, even the glovebox doesnt open or closes wen i try to openit while braking, also i love that key fob dangle around ^^ This is really as close to perfection as you can currently get The only thing that would need impofement is the jbeam the Passenger cabin jus doesnt want to deform That was 64 km/h with around 40-50% offset but im not quite sure about the exact offset 50% offset with 95kmh (it is nearly indestructible XD)
I wish people would proofread their comments before posting them because I literally have no idea what this guy is trying to say. You should install Grammarly so that way it automatically fixes the mistakes. --- Post updated --- I believe the VW in that video is 1970-1980ish. The crash test likely would've been performed at 35-40 mph (56-64 kph). I'd say the mod is very accurate in how it portrays the deformation of the Beetle. If we knew who performed the test we'd have a lot more information, though.
Well, in a globalized world, not everyone can be a native English speaker. and it's definitely not incomprehensible because of the grammar. --- Post updated --- it was the ADAC that did this test, it was also a deformable barrier In comparrison I hit a solid wall at 95 km/h, the A pillar should normally be where the driver's seat was now, but it barely even dents , so it's way too stable.
To be fair, English is the international language. But also, like I said, you could just use Grammarly. Not much excuse if you're using Grammarly or even a translator. When I read sentences like: "even the glovebox doesnt open or closes wen i want to openit wile breaking also i love that key fob dangle around" I don't know what you're trying to say. And I don't know what an "impofement" is. I'm not tryna be hostile I just literally had no idea what you were trying to say. Also, yea the deformation isn't perfect, but if you use Agent_Y's car value scaler mod you can put the deformation down to like .85 and it will deform just like in the video.
