Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I'd like to get some on my '62, are they from vw loosenuts? Where'd you get them?
I bought them from a friend who tried to install them in a newer Mexican model and they didn't fit well
I paid about $300 USD like 4 months ago, if you find some that don't have much use, it's the best option.
How do these work are they an especially designed window or just the rubber that is modified, with a hinge ?
Yeah they're kind of redesigned, its the chrome frame/trim around the glass that has a hinge on one side and a latch on the other. They arent super water tight, but they look sick lol. They also make them for the rear and the front
yeah and to open them they are like a hinge that has a screw when you loosen it you can open or close it and when you want leave them open you just tighten the screw again and the window no longer moves
So a lot of people are requesting for the 70's beetle and other versions, but something I want is the weird front fenders/headlights on Herbie in Herbie fully loaded (normal fenders) (different fenders) and also why not add the headlights, headlight covers and even front bumper that move, as they could probably just be like key binds and the such another thing that would be cool to see is maybe a splitable or separated Herbie from the final race in the '68 movie, or possible one where its just connected from the gearbox also with the configs for the '68 love bug and Herbie fully loaded it has the incorrect mirrors as they are sulcular in the movies, the Monte Carlo and '97 love are the teardrop mirrors so they are correct as they are (am I the only one who noticed this? it has be bugging me for a few days now)
