I`ve tried clearing cache deleting and reinstalling the mod. It is in the mods folder. Deactivating all mods, but still broken textures and no lights whatsoever.
If some of you guys out there - at least 3-5 people - are willing to transform this WIP with me to a cool finished version then there is a chance to put those ideas into the mod. I'm actually only experienced with modelling. It takes hours for me to figure out the whole .jbeam stuff, as I've never done this before - it could be a lot faster and there's a lot of potential in this mod.
This is my favorite movie with my favorite car now in my favorite game! Thank you for doing this, I will be keeping up with your updates. Will you add wheels without the hubcaps and maybe taped headlights?
Yes. how would that be like: The damage model of Herbie will be upgraded to the one in the video - which is a scene from the original Herbie movie. The stock bug will stay destructible of course
Info on the upcoming update: The damage model of Herbie will be upgraded to the one in the video - which is a scene from the original Herbie movie. The stock bug will stay destructible of course i think a litle bit front demage should be in the herbie version too like in this scene
The damage model of Herbie will be upgraded to the one in the video - which is a Scene from the original Herbie movie. The stock bug will keep the deformation of course. good argument.
well this mod doesn't replicate the Fully Loaded Herbie. But anyways, I think I got a better idea than that. Really hope it works.
I like that idea! Just not sure how it would work, you might need to get whole lua which app does to your mod and then use something like damaged value to make it run, but I have just read there is damaged value and not sure how to use that. It still would not repair mechanical parts and not sure how you could make tires indestructible, for other parts it is easy as you would just set beam deform to FLT_MAX, but leave only few selected beams out from that to have minor damage at beams of edges.
Do you know that scene? @tobias95ng @fufsgfen --- Post updated --- What this video is about: This caped stupor is destroying Herbie. The premise of the story was to show how whenever Herbie does a stunt in one of his movies the dent or crack or if he break anything would miraculously heal and be fixed in the next scene. Sadly he destroys the wrong car as this Herbie was the Werewolf's car and not real. Infact the real Herbie is standing right behind Werewolf's car. This isn't a official scene out of the movies but at least it has been produced by Disney! I would actually love to include Herbies 'selfhealing ability' in the mod.
i know the 1997 version of the love bug wasnt very good because the sci crap and cringey acting but this scene was so sad i was crying as i saw this scene the first time as a kid it still gets me ther was herby almoust complete totalled and literaly died. ----> 48:08 PS: but you can cut him in two parts with a laser later in the movie and he doesnt give a shit lol)
I don't remember there being Werewolf in those movies / tv-series I watched, but then again it is over 20 years I watched them last time so my memories are quite fuzzy about it. Anyway I think that having self repairing feature would be really cool as it is one of the key features of the car in a movie as well as many temperamental acts it had Update: Oh yes, there was that newer movie too, I didn't remember that, but I think I watched that around year after it was at theaters. Now it is much more clear to me as I did remember that very sad scene.
Can't wait for it to be fully finished. with roof racks and surfboards and accessories, @53_herbie_53 you should get another good modder in to help with the Accessories, p.s are the windows meant to be smokey ?
