    A brand new '63 VW beetle ...

... 60 years later, forgotten in a barn.

Introducing the new old rusty variant!

Well the idea is there, yes. But It's a matter of creating the meshs for each model.

this really should added, itll improve handling a lot, the camber change is due to the swing axle design the beetle used in early models which has interesting characteristics

would like to say maybe you should add EU rear plates and maybe colorable bucket seats?

I finally go around to downloading some mods today... Why doesn't anyone use descriptive names for their zip files. It would avoid so many issues. Why not vw-bug-herbie-by-vertexstyle.zip. Not picking on you, just a genuine question I have for ALL mod developers.

The name of the zip file itself does not really matter here. How the folders are named inside of the zip file is what matters.
For example: When two zip files with a unique name each contain the same mod, you will get a conflict. Even worse when they are different versions.

I think they meant its harder to find the particular zip file in the mods folder because instead of mods being named something like "2000_honda_civic_testauthor" they are named something like "car1" or "supermegaepcicarmod"

    midsize.zip
    fullsize.zip
    midtruck.zip
Guess which vanilla cars these are based on their zip names.
Vanilla also has an interesting naming thing for example.

I, for example, for my Autron JSP mod, it’s in xenira.zip, and the vehicle’s path is in /xenira.zip/vehicles/xenira/
You just have to have a name that makes sense in some way and doesn’t interfere with other popular content.
Here’s a few examples of my mods’ zip names
Ibishu Zwolfette - zwolfette.zip (self explanatory)
ETKEEP - 210miseries.zip (the original version only had a V12 for the I-Series called the 210M, a spoof of M120, so the mod name is 210M I-Series)
Wendover F1-ish V10 - wendoverssr.zip (SSR Garage is a ficional tuning brand obviously referencing me, so Wendover SSR makes sense, although in lore the swap wasn’t necessarily made by SSR, I just called it that)
(I don’t remember if this one is correct) Drivable Toilet - pigeontoilet123.zip (its funny cmon)

So yeah, „bug.zip” I feel like maybe makes sense, but potentially there could be added something original to it since it’s a common word and may conflict.
    Woopsies long message :p

You are right, "bug" is a little bit to general. We try to come up with a good name for the future, as with the repo. version the name shouldn't change. Will see :D

ok, this is frustrating. I've tried to re-download the mod, i've tried to delete any older copy of the mod from my computer, but it still keeps just doing this! upload_2023-9-11_21-14-26.png
