I suppose that if the race version doesn't get any bucket seats it should at least get some seat belts, i can imagine sliding off the seat pulling sick g's wouldn't be too fun.
I mean, its no home made kit car, it even has a rollcage and all.

The one thing I am wondering for the Miramar is whether there is a rev counter on the instrument cluster. After all, it was made around the same time as a Fiat 124.

There probably is a rev counter, it's not nearly as cheap as a 124.

It's possible, but it could go either way. A lot of Japanese sedans in the early '60s had just a single horizontal speedo. The sportier/race models could have an aftermarket tach like this Skyline I found:

Shift pattern on the wheel also. Pretty badass that 1st gear is replaced by an infinite sign. Infinite torque, heheheheh

You've got it backwards. First gear is on the other side of the wheel; what you're seeing is a fifth gear being represented by "O/D" as was apparently common at one point.

Yeah I'm not sure what's up with that shift pattern.

    R 3 1
    5 4 2

Might've been converted from a column shift, which was also common on Japanese cars at the time. I thought the 'OD' was an infinity sign too at first :p I stared at that photo for five minutes just trying to figure out what was going on.

Back to the Miramar, it's hard to say what the interior will be. I've noticed that the horizontal speedos tend to be on sedans (like the Miramar), but they also tend to have front bench seats and a column shift. It's clear from the screenshots that the Miramar has bucket seats, which probably means a four-speed on the floor, which might mean a dash inspired more by late 60's and early '70s cars that often had round dials and a tach.

I thought four was the highest number of forward speeds a factory column-shift car ever had?

Just looked it up (by going to the page the photo was on. Should have thought of that sooner). That was the close-ratio five-speed offered from the factory on the Skyline GT-B. Weird.

"The C110 Skyline was better known as the "Ken & Mary" or "Kenmeri""
There never was a gt2000, you are thinking 2000GT which is a model of C10 or C110 skyline, C10 and C110 denoting generation the same way the later years are known by R32, R33 etc etc.

He was correct. Either way this is offtopic, though the C10 would probably be the closest in model year for a miramar

    2000gt my error :)
    --- Post updated ---
I don't think we are talking of the same car. I think that the miramar looks more like a 2000gt skyline than a kenmeri c10
