Eh, yes a prelude did have fender mirrors, but the first generation of that car was introduced in 1978.

This is more like a Prince (Nissan) Skyline or a Toyopet (Toyota) Corona

Of course the front fascia is quite a bit different, but these are both RWD mid-60s Japanese sedans.

 

I really only was referring to cars in the game, but you are correct. And I like the history.

Fender mirrors have always been more of a JDM thing, I don't see them on most of the japanese cars over here, even the older ones.

There's some interesting ones out there...

IMO it doesn't even remotely resemble a r20 skyline, but it looks great. I'm excited for this car, gonna be fun driving it around in Jungle rock Island

 

It could be close.....
We have skins and 2 tone paint is starting to look more like an option now, but we still have a bit to go with that.
The rims are convincing proof.

Just wait for a few years, as long as we keep asking the dev's wont post progress on it.

That's not how it works, they post when they want to really. Although they do like to be a bit sneaky with their updates. Regardless if it was in game by now we would know.

If it does, i'll be forced to crash into it with, and i'd hate to do that to an antique automobile.

EDIT: @Automobile Game Did you notice that 2nd set (hubcaps) you posted are pretty much identical to the ones on the Toyota Corona image i posted at the start of this page?

 

This car will almost certainly come with a bosozuku/shakotan variant.
