You have no idea how much this helps me!Exactly what I needed! Where were you all this time man Thanks a lot
+1 demand from me because i absolutely love this car, this car is also my favorite car. what ever you do, do not stop with the wonderful progress
hey i have a request, could you port the sound of it as well so it will sound like it does in real life
currently i dont think that this is possible in beamng. the core engine sound in beamng is a temporary placeholder. there are mods for engine sounds however, search for them and youll find it right away
YES YES YES YES YES, 1,000 TIMES, YES! BeamNG would be even better with this car! And Could you possibly make a Hertz version? As seen here: (imported from here)Sorry it's so big. I found it here http://www.taringa.net/posts/autos-...el-Ford-Mustang-Modelo-a-Modelo-Megapost.html It's about 1/4 of the way down. There are lots of mustangs there. Also, it's in Spanish.
This car would be absolutely amazing in the game! Keep up the good work! Please don't give up on this car!
Hi guys I'm back. Sorry I coulnd't work on the car at all this whole time because of school stress :/ I hope you can understand. But I have a 2 weeks free from the 7th April and I'll try to slow into working on the car again. I really want it ingame. It won't be perfect, that I know but I don't want it to die. I modified the rear and cutted the individual parts from the chasis for some more realistic damage: I have some questions for experienced modders. I would really apreciate your help: Are the parts allowed to "float" like in the picture? Or do they have to be combined in any way? What about self collision? Are the parts allowed to overlap eachother by a little? Or will the car jiggle around later? How do I get the model ingame? I tried to eport it as .DAE but it was invisible ingame at the game crashed after I clicked anywhere. Also I couldn't follow the forum that much this month..Is there any jbeam tutorial by now? Couldn't find much with the search option. Thanks and have a good night
All you need to do is have everything together the way its suppose to be and then have each part grouped. My 450r has every specific part that you'd purchase if you wanted to build it from the ground up in groups. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
I see. But what about self colisions? If I would group the chasis and this object for example together would it rest there until I crash or will it start glitching arond?
After some hours of modeling this weekend I finnaly got the body shell down(most of it). I still have to model the engine bay and proper door jambs. I am happy that I got the floor of the car combined with the sides...that was tricky as hell because I aded too much detail at the beginning...something I have to keep in mind next time.
This is my first time scrolling through this forum and THIS is the first post I read. I am beyond pumped about this you sir are a genius. Here I sit having a hard time lifting the Original pickup and you are creating gods gift to man. Hats off man!
Thank you I really apreciate it You should be able to find tons of great projects in this forum Now let's talk updates: I modeled the rims today. This was really fun to make I may do some more details around the bolts but that's enough for now. I needed the wheels as reference points for the engine bay and all the underbody stuff. I've also done a rough shape for the door jambs. And this is how the underbody looks like at the moment. I have to redo the rear part of the underbody because it doesn't mach with the wheels...but I expected that to happen. After that I'll start with the engine bay so I finish the chasis. Next I'll have to do a whole new facelift of the front...it doesn't look right at all. (mainly the lights area) I tried bringing the frame ingame with a box jbeam. It does show up but I can't move the camera around it and I also cant type any comands like ctrl+F anymore. I still can pres esc and change the scene though, so the game doesn't seem to crash. Any Ideas?
Thanks for the feedback I need some help with importing the mesh ingame! I used this tutorial Tutorial-Creating-your-own-vehicle But it turned out like this: The camera was not movable after the spawn and the game would crash after ca. 1 minute without any bugsplat or report error screen. Here is the .Jbeam I did following the tutoria(hope you can read it)l: I suppose it's something about the ref nodes? Also how do I export the texture? Do I have to export the UV map(also witch resolution) go to photoshop, paint something on it and export as dds(?) ? (optional) Do you know any other tutorials within this topic "hidden" on the forum? Thanks !
Sup. I've redone the rear wheelarch to match the wheels and finished the engine bay. The chasis is now completed. I will fine tune and clean it up more at a later stage. Now I'll start with the front suspension wich will take some time...a lot of time. I have no idea how the game simulates the suspension. I've seen cars with springs which deform with any bump like in real life but there are cars i.e. the VW Golf (beta) which works without them. So does this mean that everything is just decoration and the engine will simulate any object as i.e. a spring if you tell it to? Btw: Sorry if these small wip update posts are anoying in any way I just like to look at the car taking shape with every little step on my own
