Hey thanks! I won't lie this model has gotten unexpected attention in the last 24 hours, I just wanted to make an underrated muscle car and this is it. Don't get me wrong, I love Chargers, and Mustangs but I'm sure someone else is already working on those.

yeah every one loves the mustang or camaro so its nice for a change, hey are you going to make the engines correct to what would have been sold in 1972 ?

For the most part, yes, but I don't plan to do every single variant simply because I have other cars I want to make which I'm considering making in tandem to this project. I have a fully Modelled Crown Vic screaming my name right now and a couple other cars I'm planning. My end goal is to make a good selection of cars to make a beam ng movie, that's my end goal. It sounds ambitious but this is what I do when I'm not sleeping.

For now I only plan to do the sport roof Gran Torino body, and anything that comes with that. As for police cars/sedans I have other things planned for that such as a Mercury Montego, Dodge Monaco, and Plymouth Fury. That isn't to say I'll never make other body styles for this car, after all, this is my first car mod.

1977, the same type of Furys you see in every 80's cop chase movie ever, fitting for the type of movies I am going to make.

I really don't know, I figured I'd cross that bridge when I get there. Right now I'm just doing what I know best, modeling. After it's all made, there's a lot of obstacles to jump through which makes the modeling look easy.

Slow Progress is better than no progress! Managed to add in some more chrome, so much chrome and it's not even done. The grille surround on the front fascia and the headlight bezels. I also redid the front bumper it looked too choppy for my liking so I made sure that was straight. Next is the .... grille, wish me luck. oh lovely, though i think the bezels could be a slightly set into the body more, just a tad. And good luck on that good ol' egg crate !

Ended up rearranging a lot of the front end anyways, but that grille looks really good and adds a lot to the car. Now on the the hood scoop and other bits.

Hood scoop and fender trim is done! I even put the little grille inside the hood scoop. Screenshot522.png Screenshot523.png Screenshot524.png
