Oh not ranting - though so it may seem - just sharing my thoughts on a chevy-related forum (yes, I am so asking for it). Awesome, we can totally do a National Lampoon skit if you throw on some faux-woodgrain. We just need a dog+ leash prop.
What i mean is that i see .../vehicles, and in vehicles is .../oldsfullsize and in oldfullsize is alot of stuff, that is all i get.
Actually, GM did, Chevrolet as a separate entity ceased to exist in 1917... And the Delta platforms Daewoos are built on were engineered in Europe by Opel under specific input by their parent company...
Yep because the mod is complex and has a lot of presets and skins. But what the content of the zip files has to do with the installation that is basically just save the zip files in the mods folder ? Unless you'd like to mod it for your private use because modding it is not allowed for public release, except for making new skins, i don't see the point. It works just like other mods do, it's just that i prefer having subfolders instead of having all in the root of the mod. The most important is to see the presets ingame and enjoy the journey with the cars.
my step-grand farther in south africa has that exact model of the delta 88! he imported it in the 80s.
just got around to this mod and i'm having a blast (sorta) sticky tires or rather stick metal but either way, this car just crumbles and i love it got some air.
I just wanted to say that this is my absolute favorite Beamng mod. I absolutely love big old American land yachts and I'm very glad that a modder decided to make one; they're something you don't see enough of in video games because people like to make Lamborghinis and Mustangs and other sports cars instead. Beautiful work, too. The way the paint crumbles on the restored car is a great touch. I've just donated to you, keep up the great work and good luck on fixing up your real Oldsmobile
WOW, many thanks, i just saw the donation in my email and i'm glad i can thank you directly for that ! Thanks for the nice comment as well. I'm glad that some people like you and others can consider that the work done on that can deserve a gift. The mod is free so that requires an effort to do that, so i'm even more gratefull because of that. I change the donations count just now, i credit you as you don't seem keeping anonymous.
i got a bug report and a suggestion bug: on the hidden rust body, the doors fall off very easily suggestion: make the shouldn't work but it does engine have pop sounds or misfire sound what ever you like to call it
That's the point. The whole body is mostly rust and very fragile. The hinges therefore brake off easily.
Yep, it took me some times to make this car that much shitty. Not a bug at all. For other sounds, the mod rely on what the moonhawk is able to do at the moment, so when the game's sounds will be improved with such effects, the car will get them as well. If you want a more solid rusted 98 Regency, you can do it yourself by spawning a regular car then select the "rusty beige" color, the rusty skin and the engine you just named.
Nope, i limit the range of choice to the year 1980. Further models have not only a different steering wheel but lots of changes, different seats, front grille, and so on. Every year there is a small change up to 1984. It's already a lot of work to be finished on the new body styles. Speaking of the seats, i have to do the simpler seats for the Delta 88 royale sedan, today there is only the "Brougham-like" seats, that are not totally accurate because Regency and Delta 88 Royale Brougham have some differences in the seats, and now i use the Regency one for both cars. So i have to finish all those changes and new parts. The simple seats will be used in the Station Wagon.
Understood. I can tell that huge truckloads of work is going into future updates, and it would make things more complicated if the year range was changed, especially with the 1977 - 1979 models, as the design of the body most certainly changed with the 1980 model. Speaking of steering wheels, there's something else on my mind: Is there a possibility that any future updates would add access to BeamNG.drive's other steering wheels, like the Arnida and Nomi ones? Like how the mod has the option to switch between wheel hubs? I was going to add one of those types of steering wheels to my American Madness config, but I was unable to. Also, I didn't fully understand what you mean't about up to 1984. The eight generation didn't end until 1985. Was there anything different about the 1985 models?
