    2 words: LAND BARGE

That's how long the wagon and coupe is.

Been watching this unfold for a little while now.... Amazing! That's all I can say! Great work Fido!

    & on another note:

It does to me.... I drive a '75 Monte Carlo.
Technically, it shares an almost identical suspension & chassis set up as early 70's Chevelles, GNXs, & the like, so I think it makes the cut.... Regardless of the body, there's a muscle car underneath.
The car is my avatar.... Looks like muscle to me. Have a look.

Isn't the '75 Monte Carlo a land barge rather?

It's big, but it still gets around just fine. & again, almost the same size as a Chevelle, GNX, etc.... So if it's a land barge & not a muscle car, then the Chevelle & GNX must not be either, by my way of thinking

I know someone who owns a GNX, and for me it's a muscle car, no doubt.
For him too either, he's an old man who has restored american cars all his life, and as he owns also a 1964 pontiac GTO, he uses to say " i own the first and the last muscle car produced".
So by extension, cars that are cousins, same size, weight and have good engines, are muscles cars too i agree.

We're talking late 60's-early 70's GNX, not late 80's Grand National (not a real GNX to me)
    This:

Biggest difference here is size & engine. Grand National is a 231 cubic inch V6 with a turbocharger, 70's GNX was a 455 cubic inch big block V8

I stand corrected :D I was thinking more the yellow one, but the black one still shares a drivetrain with the Monte Carlo, Cutlass & the like, so it does fall in the conversation too, technically

    70's are known as "A-bodies"
    80's are known as "G-bodies"
Different body panels, etc. but the chassis stayed the same essentially throughout each model.

    That's a 70 GSX 455 Stage one, Not a GNX.

You are correct... I had the letters mixed up. The GSX was the car I was thinking of during the earlier conversation (Based on the Skylark... Shares a frame with my Monte.)

I'm starting to sound like a grumpy old man that rains on everyone's parade.

Kaotik, your car is on the 73-77 Collonnade A-body frame, which has a 10 inch shorter wheelbase than the 68-72 A-body frame.

It's not the exact specs I was speaking of, it's the chassis (A-body in general) that I was speaking of. I'm not too sure about the wheelbase difference, myself. I'm partial to 75 Monte Carlos in particular, & don't 'study' much else. This is the 3rd one I've owned :) Love these things.

I take it you're a classic car guy too?
& don't think of it as raining on parades, my friend, I don't mind learning little things I didn't know. I appreciate the knowledge.

I'm more into trucks, but I've had a little bit of everything, and like to think I know a little about everything.

Personally, My field of expertise would be the 73-87 GM trucks.
