Considering the new T-Series remaster is based of the Kenworth, International, & Western Star. I think it'd make sense you do a Peterbilt refresh for this mod, though all of that is all up to you.
I noticed that T-Series Remaster practically copied this mod along with the CabOver Addon (im a really good way), I know it doesn't make sense to continue with the mod, But it could transform the mod like the T-Series Expansion Pack was, adding new things to the Vanilla T-Series
Whenever I get to have some hours free, I will probably start working on the remaster of this mod. Althought I will need to come up with a new and unique design since the T-Series basically is the Wentward now. I had something in mind though.
I have some suggestions if that's fine; it's either remodel the whole thing and alternate the whole lore of the mod. Wentward will be based on the International 9000 - 9500 Long nose and International 9600 - 9800 COE Easier said than done but that's all I can think of for now
Or make some relatively major design changes to differentiate it from the t-series Cabovers and Semis.
Hey, someone released the old T-Series as a pseudo-core mod: (5) Experimental - Gavril T-Series lagacy | BeamNG It needs a bit of fixing (the fifth wheel apparently doesn't work), but at least you won't have to redo the textures
Kinda pointless tbh. When I do it, I will remake it from scratch Althought I really doubt that I will get to it anytime soon. Probably in a couples of months if I am lucky.
We at the Reddit subgroup are still working on bringing the legacy trailers back so the skins work. If you can help, you might get a shoutout for you help
The old T-Series and these Wentwards do NOT work with the new trailers: they won't automatically couple, plus the trailers brakes will not come off. Oh, and what few remainders exist of the old trailers will spawn without bogies.
I personally think you should consider keeping the same cab since it is now different from the new T-series’ cab, although the final decision is yours. Another idea would be having it be based off the Freightliner FLD cab structure, but with a Pete 379 style wide hood with separate lights, to differentiate from the T-series hood which became narrower and has integral lights. This could have day cab and different sizes of sleepers, with the early version having four round lights like the 359, and no raised roof sleeper option
TBH double horizontal headlights is something I am kinda missing in the T-Series Remaster, so that would be nice to have both for the square and round headlight version. To make it more unique, @RyanCookie could also keep the grille without the divide in the middle, to give it a bit of uniqueness over the normal T-Series. Also have the grille be wider than the normal truck.
Now, if you don't mind, I'll unpack this version of the mod, do one or two adjustments and keep it for myself.
I'm working to get the current version of this mod working again and preserve it, but I have a problem with the dryvan skins: they break for no reason and make the dryvan look yellowish and weird. It's only the skins in this mod: all other modded skins work fine. Any tips on how to fix it? The legacy dryvan I have has the file path "dryvan_30" (set by me).
