This one is because you crashed. The way the light works is that there's a red disk thing that rotates behind the dash and makes it seem like the light turns on, but when you crash, it shows.
No. None of those are bugs, the last one maybe but it was already explained above. About the interior not looking exactly like a real thing; keep in mind that I made this mod on my free time, be happy what you got or make better. If you want super detailed interiors go play project cars or something, no need to hate community made mods here.
Even then BeamNG has some pretty weird interior lighting, it doesn't do it any justice. Honestly the interior is just fine...
Nice post m8, i r8 8/8. Seriously, his post had at least some content unlike yours and it wasn't really a bump since the last post was a week ago. About the interior, it looks simpler than it really is because it's so dark and lacks ao. I don't really have motivation to "fix" at the moment, sorry. Also thanks for the nice comments
There is nothing really to "fix" here anyways. The car looks great and the most important thing, and the thing that makes it really special, it also drives really well even at high speeds. It's always exciting to try getting through a corner while pushing the car to the limit, hoping not to turn into bits and pieces in the process . You are in no position to say "sorry" at all I hope everyone is able to understand this. So...thank you again for the great mods and Merry Christmas
Nothing needs fixing as far as i can see, well done. The car is great to drive i just hope to see more cars from that racing series along with it, not necessarily by just you because i know this level of design and quality takes a LOT of time, but hopefully we will see more trans am cars from others as well.
I found new bug on the lastest version of beam.ng Look at the tachometer. Here some photo: Ps. It's freshly spawned.
First off, the mod looks great. The exterior is well done. Second, more importantly, it DRIVES really well. A lot of the higher-powered cars get really twitchy at high speeds--this is rock-steady all the way up to its top speed (best I could do was about 115 MPH in 4th gear. 5th appears to be an overdrive). Lots of grip and does this thing have actual downforce or is it all tire? Because it seems to get MORE stable at higher speeds. Also, I like that you have the "TV" cameras on the roof and the interior. That's a really nice touch. There are a few flaws. First, the lights don't work at all. Second, I'm not sure if it's supposed to do this but the car squats like a crapping dog on hard takeoffs. The rear suspension seems a lot softer than it should be--the front suspension is much firmer. Also, as others have said, the gauges are wonky. The tach isn't reading properly. (I think the needle is reversed from where it should be)
