Re: 1980 Audi Quattro I'm really tempted to just fudge the engine bay and everything that connects to the front wheels. I honestly can't make heads or tails of the reference images. (imported from here) Anyone kind enough to impart some knowledge on modeling these areas?

Re: 1980 Audi Quattro hmm, I'm tempted to spend a few hours on a drawing board making reproduction engineering drawings of the car's frame, which would include the stuff under the bodywork. Would you model from them if I did that? that said, these are really good images in the sense that the guy has used whatever bodywork repair and he's gone and outlined all those shapes for you. The angles are good in that you could use photoshop to remove quite a few perspective errors on some parts and use them as actual viewport references. are you sure you need to fudge it?

The images you supplied are extremely helpful, don't get me wrong, but there's only so much one can extrapolate from photographs. I prefer to minimise fudging, especially on a car as historically important as this one. For those who want an update, get a nice cactus, and go fu- Only joking. I've made a .jbeam that no longer explodes the moment it spawns, so things are going well

Re: 1980 Audi Quattro This looks great so far. The audi quattro was one of the best cars from it's time so it'll be fun to drive it in beamNG (and wreck the poor thing). However why put right hand drive on a german car? It's not exactly the "correct" side now is it? I mean you model it so fuck what i think make it how you like it but still. Good work btw.

Re: 1980 Audi Quattro BBC TV series called Life On Mars had a quattro in it, being a british show it was RHD. Actually 40% of the cars globally are RHD. At least with it being RHD we can have it in red followed by: Another thing to add. Zappymouse's location is set as Australia. In Australia vehicles are RHD and driven in the left lane so are one of the 40%. I'd say it would make sense that if the mod author is from a country with RHD cars that the mod is also RHD. I for one would make all of my mods RHD as I am english and we also have RHD cars.
