Ik but it looks more American than Japanese so if you do something as simple as change the badge, it might just convince people

 

Japan took alot of inspiration from american cars during that era. Its a Japanese car.

 

Japanese car, Japanese company, likely designed almost exclusively for the American market.

i guess if you rebranded it as a lore friendly dodge/Plymouth then maybe but this car looks to be mostly based off of the 87' Nissan gloria

Exactly, because the V8 underneath the hood is mounted longitudinally so it makes sense that it will be RWD.

 

This looks absolutely spectacular, the retro luxury vibe is great, cant wait to drive it

It also seems you have asked this same question before. WIP means its work in progress and cant be downloaded. On hold means that it is WIP and not being worked on temporarily.
