literally the same car, but it has more "luxury" and a different name. OT: do we have any new photos? were the textures fixed?
Ok ok we get it. I know its not a 2CV, but most of the western world would not have a clue what a Citroen Dyane even was. The 2CV was famous for its suspension (among other things) and this just happened to be the best image I found, so since the cars are so incredibly similar, I just decided to refer to it as a 2CV. I didn't think anyone would end up getting offended by it especially since... "The Dyane design was directly based on the Citroën 2CV, but its main distinguishing feature was the presence of a hatchback rear body." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citro...on called the Acadiane derived from the Dyane. That and the fact that my job has been hitting me with insane hours lately. I don't have any new photos at the moment, but yes I do believe the textures are fine. That mess up only occurred on my end as I had an out of date materials file on my hard drive, but everyone else was fine.
This mod has come so far from when i first came to this thread back in mid/late 2017. It's just unbelievable.
And... if I can get my crap together... hopefully we don't have to wait tooooo much longer... hopefully.
I'm so excited! I am going to set a modified civilian version as my main car and probably the Brutus badge as my profile pic like how i have the Hirochi badge rn. I'm gonna run over the ETKs and Ibishus like they are little acorns on the ground.
would an NXT 360 be feasible, or would it need to be a whole different mod? it is sort of a separate vehicle, but I believe it's built on the same chassis.
Most definitely. There will be many different body styles in civilian and military form. Check the first post for more info on different body styles.
Yes, I checked that, but I was wondering more on military-specific variants (M997 Ambulance, M1097A2 Shelter Carrier, etc)
There will be some military variants to start out with... but mostly just the standard trucks, so nothing fancy like Ambulances or anything. At the moment the parts library is mainly focused on Civilian vehicles. That being said though... there could be some in the future I suppose if anyone wanted to add them on (as it probably wouldn't be very difficult to do).
I believe there is also a 6x6 version in the pictures, will that be a focus or more of a side feature?
Yeah, that's more of a side feature. Kinda one of those, "Hey, this was fun to make, also, check out how cool it is!" things. I would try to make it more advanced, but unfortunately, I am kinda stuck wheel wise on it as you can't use global wheels with anything more than 4 wheels as that is all they defined in the main game. That, and I am not taking every in game wheel and developing a 6X6 version just for this mod... that's a LOT of work, and I already have so much I still need to do with the regular parts. Rest assured though, it is fully functional... its just with the rear wheels, you will only be stuck with whatever we have actually created to be used with it. Also... just as some clarification... when I say side feature... that is me stating that there is only one configuration of parts for it. So, like the 6X6 for example. You have to equip the 6X6 cab to attach the rear subframe. The rear subframe can only have the 6x6 bed on it. The Subframe can only have the 6x6 rear suspension arms. The 6x6 suspension arms can only have the 6x6 shocks, springs, and walking beams... you can see where I am going with this... everything can be swapped out just like with any other Beam vehicle... but there are just no extra parts to swap them out with. When I say that parts are a focus, that means that there will be multiple iterations of that part. Take the bull bars for instance... there are like 8 or 10 different front bull bars right now, some spread across like 6 or 7 different front bumpers. Same with the rear bumpers... there are a bunch of rear bumpers. Same with the doors... I think there are 5 different doors right now? Both front, back, and both sides all swappable between those 5 different types. So yeah... when I say its a side feature... that basically means there is only one configuration of parts for that setup... but it will still get just as much attention as everything else. I just wanted to clarify that.
