Not really a progress post, but rather a fixing stuff post... I managed to make the polyflow be a bit better on the body (thanks @Driv3r1142 ), made a sidestep pipe and... that's about it When it will come out (hopefully we'll be able to release it this month still, IF not then sorry) as an early beta, it won't have some kinda important-ish stuff like a proper civilian interior, since even though the real Hummer is a box on wheels, the interior is quite curvy so the inside will be a bit plain & simple (but it will have a dash) again, sorry). ALSO: Don't get too excited for other body variants than a 4-door pickup at start, since due to how I built the body, it will need to have quite some adjustments to accomodate the wagon/slantback variant & that may make some spiking problems etc. ingame. Next week I'll MAYBE have a short video of driving around the B1 but for now, enjoy these pictures
Will the snorkel be able to move up and down like in real life? I've always thought that was such a cool feature.
When did they ever do that? Every one that I have ever seen was either a stock snorkel or had a deep water fording kit. I have never seen one with a telescoping snorkel before.
I'm fairly certain as a kid I saw some video where it moved from out of the hood for deep river crosings then went back down for visibility, but I'm probably wrong.
Hey, if you can find one, I will help add it in, but I have just never seen one of them before. Most I have seen that have a deep water snorkel just have a large one like this (this is a local Hummer to me) where it is a permanent fixture. That's not to say they never made a telescoping snorkel, just, like I said, I have never seen one.
Thanks for that, and Merry Christmas Everyone! I am sorry for my lack of progress, but seeing as it is currently the Christmas season... things have been a little insane around here. I haven't been able to even get on in 4 days... so that is my current lack of progress... plus... I am buying another car in a couple of days (as if I don't have enough of them already) so I will be messing around with paperwork this week to get that all up and running. Progress will come in the new year, but it will just take a little bit.
