I fixed the jigglyness since last night already! I just have a few more things to add back in tonight (seeing as I basically broke everything when I rebuilt the frame) and now the thing has no jiggles whatsoever except in the suspension... mostly because at the moment it is still using the same beam spring and damp values as it was when I was having problems with the frame stability... that will be fixed tonight as well.
NICE! @Sithhy™ This looks WAY better than i thought it did! I thought is had a lot less done, but the mesh in beamng looks far more completed. I do know that its really wip though
Well, it still lacks few models to be fully done, but I will have to skip mainly a bigger model at first, because it will take too long for me to make it & I want to release the damn thing soon It lacks: proper interior, steering shaft, seats, windows & (probably) an engine
Personally, I don't think that Hummers should be road legal. Nevertheless, seeing one in-game has been a dream of mine for a long time coming. --- Post updated --- I mean, as long as you keep working on it and eventually add those things in, I couldn't care less. I'm not worried in the slightest, as you seem extremely committed to this project.
Well, even Redbull likes it, it was a road legal DJ cabin at a car show last year Going back on topic, it would be fun to crash into other cars in-game when it's finished.
Why not? Hummers are amazing hulking behemoths that are pure MURICA. How do you guys work so fast.....
Me and fast? You're funny This has been 6-8 months in development & it's not done yet... On the other hand, atv_123 made some amazing progress in the two last days, while I've been slacking behind on creating models
Well, progress being slow, but also I'm trying to make a custom engine model for the B1 so it doesn't use the Bruckell engines anymore (for now atleast). Been finishing up the body so atv_123 will be able to update it ingame, so the B1 will be even closer to a beta-ish release Engine model won't be shown yet, I MIGHT NOT finish it anytime soon
A little screenshot to show how far the progress has come: On this photo it still uses the previous body without a Solidify modifier, so because of that the inner side is invisible, but don't worry, a more refined (& probably better looking) body is on the way so don't worry Here it doesn't have certain stuff like lights & windows etc. (smaller details) but has some simple textures as you can see which are made by atv_123 just to test stuff
Glad to see that the B1 is starting to come together very well! But I've been wondering if it will have it's own engine sounds instead of in-game ones.
Well, for some time it will probably have the default V8 sound from the D-Series (which isn't that bad), but in the future it may have some custom ones... Hard to tell now, since atv_123 nor me know how to do engine sounds
If I were you I'd use the same sound as the T-series, just try it, it also sounds very cool in the high revs
Why not use these as the sounds: https://sonniss.com/sound-effects/military-hummer-h1-humvee/ I know they cost money but they are really good sound clips
