In the interrior you could definitely use parts of different vehicles as long as your other textures are going to be better than my extended van mod taillings from my expirience are kind of hard to get right, that's why I've thought about the hopper's taillings as they are circular and they would at least make it different from the real life H1 which is a good thing as it fits the base BeamNg theme better to have a vehicle based on the real car but different in a noticable way.
Well, I'm not saying that I won't use anything from the game parts, but some inspirations could definately come in handy, like the circular rear lights
Dashing to new... As few posts ago I asked if it would be better to combine 2 dash's into one, I am now in the process of it becoming a real thing. It won't be looking as good as a real one, but it should be noice Mind the holes, I'm still working on it
Dude, you are becoming VERY irritating. IT IS DONE WHEN IT IS DONE. STOP ASKING FOR A (censor beep) RELEASE DATE.
There is no date... you will know when it is coming to a close as it will start to look more and more like a finished product... I haven't even put the doors in game yet along with half the driveline, so it isn't going to be this month... I can guarantee that.
VERY slow progress... Well, I dunno what's happening with me, but the progress is very slow. Over the span on 6h, I make almost nothing and I hate it since I want to have this mod FINALLY finished Even this simple engine bay cover took me an hour to do, where it should be 10-15 min. max... But fear not, I will finish this mod & won't abandon it no matter what. I also remade the back a bit, to make it look properly since something didn't look right before, so now it will be closer to what the real car looks like
Bit more work Nothing crazy, just added more glass & changed the shape of the wagon window from a rectangle to... less rectangle
I guess that's a question for me... Do you mean with a command like the tailgate of the D Series? If so I could probably use the bit of code from that to make them open. (No promises, but while not originally planned, it doesn't sound too difficult)
I like how you guys haven't given in to the high demand and are more interested in making a quality mod than a fast one. I wish that there were more modders like you.
The "quality" aspect is debatable in some places, since as you may know (or not), I'm still learning how to do the meshes properly without having ngons or some weirdly connected quads... But other than that, some stuff lacks like a bit of detail here & there, but it should be all fine at release
Nevertheless, there are still plenty of relatively experienced modders who don't have nearly the level of attention to detail you do. Like how you've remade the body at least twice. Also, as @IAchievedBacon said, this is your first mod.
