Good news! Last night I worked for a while and now there is a new interior for every body variant of the B1! Now this is a civilian interior and not a military interior... which is basically just a dashboard (I mean lets be honest) which we haven't bothered to model yet... BUT STILL... PROGRESS That and I am coming here to bump this thread back to the main page so the poor thing doesn't get buried from all the Automation Car threads... it was already on page 3.
Not the place to ask for help, but here: https://www.beamng.com/threads/tutorials-index-list-of-useful-guides.51454/
I was wondering who the first one to ask that question would be Normally, yes, you are correct... they are spinning the wrong direction... but on Hummer H1's and Humvee's, they used Portaled Axles (also why the center of that shaft doesn't line up with the center of the tire... the more you know). This enabled the vehicle to keep the axles streighter for reduced stress and also had a gear reduction in them (again, reducing torque and stress on the driveline components). This means that since the wheels are spun by the bottom gear, the axles must spin the top gear. In doing so... we end up with a backwards rotating driveline. Looks totally weird, but is totally accurate.
All right guys. I am currently working on the textures for the Brutus B1. I've already finnished the suspension and most interior/engine parts. Though there are still lots of configurations and options for the vehicle that need to be textured.
o my god look its the last mammoth anyways nice looks good the funny thing is the hummer h1 can parbobly pull a mammoth
