Wow, this just looks in one big word, AWESOME, and please.. do not make a super car of it, just normal as it is you made screens of, and maybe ADD super stuff, instead of just making it one SUPER beast, because that would be cool for a add thing :D

Okay guys, super early alpha get it here... Please do not leak this(I know someone will be a dick and do it anyway, but please...?)

    http://www.mediafire.com/download/b237xfkh19ap3c7/Fleetwood+Bounder.rar

I'm not going to put this link in the main post till it's full release, nor am I going to set the title prefix to alpha released. Might not leak to the Russians then. Inevitble but oh well.

Also, I still don't use the folder-inside-folder-inside-zip method that BeamNG wants us all to use, because I still think it's shouldn't be necessary to have 2 folders inside a zip. To install: Open the RAR with Winzip/7Zip/whatever, copy Bounder to BeamNG User folder/Mods/Vehicles/.
EDIT: I'm gonna use a ZIP next time, apparantly it works properly now! ::D

Also, I already know nearly all of the bugs in this :p

    Uhm. Yes.

I mean, I was kinda gonna make it into a Veyron but since you told me not to make a super car out of it, I'll keep it as an RV...

Mythbuster I just love your attention to detail, I rolled the thing over, and there's the proper trans pan for a Turbo-400, behind one of the best models of a BBC I've seen in quite a long time.

    Well done.

Thanks man. I have to admit, I took this transmission model straight from my Helljeep, it was modeled to be a Turbo-350 :p And I'm now finding out that my gear ratios may be all wrong for it too... Oh well! I'll fix it.

    I think so...

    1st 2.48:1
    2nd 1.48:1
    3rd 1.00:1
    R 2.07:1

I can't help but really want a proper squarebody pickup in this game too now.

So a Turbo400 is like, completely the wrong gearbox I guess... Guess I need to look into it some more tomorrow :/ I'm using 3.25, 2.37, 1.56, 1.0, 0.78 for it now.
I don't even know why I assumed it would have a 5-speed, but I know for sure a 2.48 first gear is going to suck unless the diff ratio is something outrageous like 6:1...

    3 speed automatic. No overdrive.

Same trans I have in my 86 Blazer, but it came originally from a 79 one ton.

And for an 86 P-30 chassis, I would think a TH400 would be be only automatic option, I doubt a 700R4 would be put in a one ton. And I know they wouldn't put a manual in a motorhome.

Also, now that you said that it was a TH350, the pan isn't right after all,

Alright, you seem to be very knowledgeable on these things! Thanks a lot man. Do you have any idea what kinda diff ratios one of these motorhomes would have? Or what the top speed would be? I've had a look online but the highest diff ratio I could find was a 5.38... I'm sure that with those gear ratios and a 5:38 its probably gonna run out of steam very quickly, unless my 454 is way off in torque figures. My original had 380 Nm at 1400 RPM but I've since upped that to 418 Nm at 1400rpm. 280 ft.lb and 308 ft.lb respectively. It only does 97km/h(60mph) now...

Also @ the oilpan: Aw crap :/ I used that oilpan on Helljeep because it was small(I needed the clearance).

Well I like to think I know a bit about the older Chevy trucks, as far as P-chassis only stuff, I'd really have to go take a look at some books.

As far as the rear end goes, It would have a full floating 14 bolt GM, and for gears, well the highest I know of from the factory were 4.10, 4.56, 4.88 and some really rare 5.13s.

And, just for good measure heres what a 14BFF looks like.

Hmpff... Guess I fudged the diff a *lot*. I couldn't find a single pic of one. I'm saving that in case I ever redo the diff case.

I also just found this in the owners manual. The 31ft GVWR is 14,840 lbs so I'm guessing it would have a 4.73 or 4.10 ratio in it then?
    k9at8.png

I wish I knew what the top speed of one of these was, and/or an accurate torque curve on a 454 from one of these motorhomes :/
It's only doing about 87km/h / 54 mph with the 4:10... Oh, and my weight ingame is only 5500kg, or 12,000 lbs. So it's way too light and still can't even reach 60? Seems weird to me.

Very excellent work so far Mythbuster, amazing how much rear overhang this thing has, pretty neat watching it buck and heave going down the road. Is the steering angle really that short on these things? Or is it that being worked on?
