Cool mod idea, hope for the best! By the way, at the start, you mentioned some parts of the dae don’t appear. Check if they appear from the other side - BeamNG stuff has only one-sided textures, and it may have chosen the wrong one. In Blender, you can do Mesh -> Normals -> Flip while selecting faces that are on the wrong side in-game.
When it comes to materials and textures, that's not my choice because I'm not someone who understands textures and materials, so I need your help regarding textures and materials, especially parts like this and that.
I think that if this is basically just a shorter roamer, copying the materials file from that to this should work. Then it will use the texture files from the Roamer. If you use a material from a different car for something, copy that material from that vehicle’s materials file and paste it into yours. And if you’ll want to make a custom material, just base it off of one that you have in the file already.
The body is not from Roamer directly but made by myself But I'm not really sure whether it works or not with roamer material
There are still many unsolved parts in this section 1. The texture part is still a lot messy 2. The door was not closed as usual
There’s propably some issues with UV Mapping. In Blender, select an object, then at the top go from Layout to UV Mapping (or UV Unwrapping, forgot what the Name was exactly but it has UV in it), then go into edit mode and the faces you select you will see their mapped position. The best solution is to play around with that, see what looks good. That’s what I do for my mods at least.
This is the MEUMP (Medium Utility Multi Purpose Platform) of body on frame Comparison with roamer standard frames Sorry if I'm late posting because I have work to finish and I'm busy
