Ok, it may not look like much. But this is huge, No material conflicts with his big brother. The Satyr is officially it's own car. Next up is removing stuff that I don't think fits a car of this side. Such as the bigger displacement engines and the superchargers. That puts me striking distance of a releasable version in a reasonable amount of time. The hard part is over. I also can't thank you all for your encouraging messages, it's been a huge motivator for me. My next project will be much more polished than the Satyr, I promise you that!
i personally think it'd be nice to still have a v6, albeit a smaller displacement one with awful power (think the mitsubishi 3.0 v6 that went into k cars and the minivan) but it's up to you
Officially into "trim the fat" mode. I doubt I will be doing much more with the model. I have busted my ass and then I figured out the solidify modifier. It is a poor substitute for actual modeling the back side of the mesh. However it has saved me from making the model more bloated then it needed to be. The front turn signals are still hilariously broken in accidents. It's going to take a bit for me to properly fix it. I may hold off until I get the model remodeled. Closed beta will be ready in a couple of days. This will be by INVITE only, I'm sorry but there are too many snakes on the forum.
Agreed! Model looks decent tbh. And this thing took shape pretty quickly imo. And I think most mod authors have taken to remodelling the car, even LJ with the nissan and sitthy with the H1, they've both remodeled or are remodelling the vehicle. More poly flow is more better . And the closed beta thing?, Yeah, that's the only option rn.. otherwise u don't know who will leak it or re-upload a buggy mod.. Good Luck and may the force be with you (don't know why I referenced star wars, I just woke up.)
This K car is promising, tho it looks a bit wonky, but because this is your first mod, its pretty impressive. Keep the pace up
wouldnt that actually give it more power? base model moonhawk v8 has 185 hp iirc and i think the 3.8 v6 has more
