1987 Buick GNX

in 1987 Buick had been making the Regal for a while, then decided to make a final version, whilst utilising turbos.... very rare, and a risky business move... it decimated the field!! Though not popular in the day, it has become a cult classic.



The model was supplied by sanskrin, they did fantastic work! though it had to be modified a bit for use here, and was adapted to be as close to real life as I could be bothered haha

the engine is modified from the Wendover

Here's some fixes I made for this car!
Things I fixed:
Speedometer (Now accurate)
Changed the "buik" in the select menu to "Buick" lol
Fixed default config so it now spawns with the shifter in the interior
Enjoy!

 

thanks Domenicc, I was putting off fixing the speedo because I don't like changing my UI from kmh. Thanks also for the other things too

No problem! love the car man, great work you've done here

 

Love the mod, and glad you made these little fixes. I don't suppose you could add glowmaps to the interior and headlights, could you? Those are the only things I can think of that are slightly off about the mod still. Other than those small things, everything else is absolutely perfect about it, honestly.

 

also the front suspension is being held up by hopes and dreams, it's very fragile

 

I'm not quite sure about everything with BeamNG modding yet, I'm quite new. I'm hoping someone fixes the suspension and glowmaps in the future though!

 

you are starting to do some cool stuff mate, i like it a lot
tho the turbo model is a bit weird, if you need some directions on how to make better mechanical parts i could teach you
still its a nice thing there

 

i'm unable find it in-game. how do i find it.
edit- nevermind the mod was not in the mods folder.
