Impeccable work. Emphasis on the details of the exterior and handling. I wasn't so interested in 'real' models for the Beamng, but the recent Volvo S60 and now the 205 have made me reconsider. In addition to the bugs reported at the beginning, I noticed that the front suspension lowers excessively when the wheel is completely turned to both sides. I don't know if this is expected... I saw that the fact that the dials do not show real numbers was already mentioned, as well as the maximum speed stuck at around 140km/h in some versions and 160km/h in others, even though the car was going faster. It seems to me that the sound of the engines is not original. Not that this is a problem, but it would be interesting to work on original engine sounds. This car deserves it! I imagine that, for the issue of the doors not opening as much as they should, maybe it's enough to make a cut in the car's dashboard, because it's bumping there. Anyway, it's already one of my favorites. 5/5
Thank you! The suspension is being worked out by @dumpling so I'm sure he can improved that as much as possible, the lowering might be a bit excessive indeed. The dials are still being fine-tuned, at least I managed so far to get much more accurate readings (in fact, in the latest public alpha they are already as fine-tuned as they are for now), as shown here (green is where the dial would need to be) so further issues as the maximum speed will be tackled soon. Sounds are definitely important too, but since the range of engines is quite significant (5 at the very least) sourcing sounds is challenging, at least to ensure a constant quality across the whole range, so hopefully as soon as I have good sound sources, they can be done quickly. Doors/hood/trunk not opening is something I'm working on too.
Great mod overall. There is a issue with the 1.9L engine, when shutting the car down, the engine locks up and refuses to start. Weird bug, hope it gets fixed soon. But still, epic mod, love it!
Could you actually post a picture of the model instead of just saying you bought one and then post a picture of a real car?
With dynamic reflections turned on, it is "snowing" through the windshield, did anyone notice this? Without DR it´s fine.
This is an excellent mod, no doubt. I don't know if this has already been mentioned but the force feedback freaks out with this car. Every time I turn the wheel about 1/4 of the way, it starts pulling badly to the side where the steering wheel is turned. Like if I turn the steering wheel a little bit left, it hits a point where it just pretty violently tries to turn the steering wheel even more to the left. Maybe this will be fixed along with the suspension that is being reworked, idk. Just thought you should know
