it's a vast improvement, but I think a little bit of light scattering in the textures would make it look even better.

Yep, just like the Vivace has and it looks amazing.
However i don't really know how to do that so if something like this ever gets added to the game some scattering would be awesome.

After I updated my BeamNG copy to 0.21, I noticed that the new Covet 2.0 GTz / GTz Special Edition models have the same numbers (both weight and performance numbers) displayed in their mini-descriptions as the 1.5 ZXi / ZXi Special Edition models! This is strange, because in the 1989 Pessima, the 2.0 engine makes at least 134hp/180Nm. Not to mention that the 2.0 Covets must be a tiny bit heavier than 970kg (because of the larger and heavier 2.0 engine) and faster than both the 1.5 ZXi / ZXi Special Edition models (because of the extra 19hp / 30Nm) and the 2.0 Pessimas (due to the fact that the 2.0 Pessima weighs at least 1300kg while the Covet in general is a considerably lighter car, weighing in at ~930 - 980kg)!
Keep in mind that there is no forum dedicated to the Covet (or I couldn't find one, at least), so the next best thing is to write this on the 1989 Pessima forum (besides, the numbers written mainly concern the 1989 Pessima)!
Speaking of the 1989 Pessima, shouldn't the ZX be the cheaper car of the two ZX models? The AWS system has its extra cost, so the ZX AWS should be costing 7000 and the ZX should be costing 6000 instead of the other way round it is now! Anyways, here are the screenshots with the numbers of each version/car model in question! As far as the Pessima is concerned, I will only be showing the engine/performance numbers of the 1989 2.0 N/A Pessima models and not their weight in comparison to the Covet, because it is way too obvious!

What are these lights? They don't light up with the reverse lights or indicators, and I thought they were fog lights but they don't turn on with those either. Are they just fillers?

The performance description isn't always updated for new configs, sometimes it is empty or partially copy/pasted from similar configs. It was a mess for the configs we got in the GM remaster for example. The drag Covet as well only shows about 280hp IIRC, meanwhile the thing can do like an 8.5 second 1/4 mile. There are real contemporary civics with 2.0L engines that can go that fast, but they are all 600-1,000hp (usually with a serious widebody front end too... At least we got some cool parts for that config, even if the intake is subtle and there's no widebody front)

    They might just be reflectors.

In the model they are linked to the signal lights (indicators).

Yeah, it's true what you said about the GM remastering! Problem is that each config is still even slightly different compared to the rest of the configs! I guess the stats will be corrected in the future updates...

Sorry for bump, but the GTz really needs a boost gauge! How am I supposed to know when the turbo's spooled up enough to let off the clutch?
