It would be awesome if there was a boost gauge on the versions with turbos

Imma assume he's talking about the fact he has the worst turbo ever. -0.5 PSI of boost. How the hell did he manage to get negative boost.

Do you even know how turbos work?

Exhaust gas goes in, magic happens, and you get more power.

There's bit more than that. When the engine is idling or at low rpms there's slight negative boost pressure until the turbo spools up.

Aside from the whole propulsion thing, engines are basically giant vacuum cleaners. The intake stroke of the piston cycle creates a suction which generates a noticeable negative pressure in the intake piping regardless of whether or not the car is turbocharged. A slow-spinning turbine wheel is a substantial restriction in this piping, further increasing vacuum.

btw wouldnt it be more realistic if the efficient model just had a different diff instead of a whole new gearbox

That is indeed what they did on the Honda Civic HX Coupe, they gave it a 3.722 differential instead of a 4.058 differential (and gave it slightly more power). And i'd agree that just switching the differential ratio would be easier then designing a new gearbox from scratch.

Just a random picky thing but this (rubber trim?) around the doors on the pessima should be black like the trim on the pillars instead of just body coloured.

This has to be one of the best handling cars in this game. It's pretty fun to drive, too!

does it catch fire, YES it caught fire from a simple rollover accident, at this rate i hope i never get in accident in my 1988 Camry Station wagon
I own this beauty IRL, and the pessima is a savior for me, finally a car i can smash into bits and scare myself shitless at would could happen to me, but please gabester make a station wagon variant so my fantasy can be complete!
the accord at the time had a wagon too.
also it needs electric seatbelts and black bumpers like the covet

one last thing: a cool addition to the wheel customization system would be paintable steel wheels or body color steel wheels *Ahem*, cars from this time period would do that a lot, steel wheels used to actually count for something, but now our society is so engrossed in 19" aluminum rims with edgy designs that i dont think we'll ever go back

also for any of you wondering, the car in the background is a 1958 Edsel Pacer
