Oh okay. How come you changed it? was the Sound to bad quality or you just changed it?
I just thought the official sounds sounded better
hello i figure id let you know that the only way to drive the car is to switch it to a manual and make it rear wheel drive. and when you crash the whole suspension disappears its like you break a axle as soon as you give it gas and its got something holding it back besides thta beutiful mod keep updating it itll be something beauiful
If you go back to the previous page, I have linked a fix, and someone has released a transmission specific fix to add to it as well. Hope this helps!
I posted the latest version a few messages ago, but I just posted the link to the latest version in the main post. redownload it
So, is it fixed ? I downloaded from the new link and it's the same as before, I also cleared my cache to be sure.
i guess not?
It looks like your transfer case is put on rwd and its broken on the new version looking at your video. The one that works properly is fwd AND if you want to have a good workiing rwd youll have to download this mod called SVX transmission in page 14.
I did test this vehicle on tilting ramp prop and found out that this is not very good at climbing up the ramp if you set up ramp so that rollers are under one axle (front or rear). From vanilla cars etki is worse.
I don't know how good or bad real car's AWD system is, but in reality some cars are quite weak in how they can apply torque to rear wheels, so maybe it is how this car indeed is irl too.
Engine sound is quite loud though, it is using V6 race engine samples I believe as to my knowledge there is no B6 samples in game (or V12 which I hope we could get someday as there is few cars I would like to convert from other games, but I'm waiting for the sounds).
Balancing volume level to level of vanilla cars would be nice as when using car together with vanilla cars it tends to be quite much louder.
Anyway car is understeery as it is essentially FWD with tiny bit of rear wheel drive to help, especially with ACT-4, but with other one which is F36:64R (base) according to page linked earlier, it is mostly 50/50 or more FWD during driving, on rollers it seem to go more towards rear though, but not even close to the levels old Pessima or Sunburst for example.
Together with front LSD and how it is setup, that of course makes it very understeery when applying throttle, stiffer rear LSD compared to front usually helps if understeering is found to be too much, but then again, some real vehicles just are like that.
In WRC at late 80's and early 90's when Japanese companies started to bring their AWD systems to rally world, one of them brought it with a spool type diff lock at front, somewhat recently one of the rally drivers of the era commented on that how badly it understeered, said it was next to impossible to drive around corners because everytime you touched accelerator it would go straight.
Great to have this legendary car in BeamNG, thanks for doing hard work on this car
Also probably because you may have left the race front tires on if you clicked on one of the configurations. This makes the car handle weird.
I looked at SVX blueprints and pretty confused. Like, why making it FWD/AWD if it is longitional already and has a proper rear subframe with proper diff? Like, you can remove front halfshafts and boom it's RWD. I mean, some modifications to transmission are still needed, but it is possible with ease
because no one was buying them and by the mid 90s subaru figured that if they removed the rear drive components they could reduce the price and sell them better. it was supposed to be only AWD
Nice, as a big fan of the SVX, I am pretty excited.
