So it will technically be a mix of Toyota Pickups from all over the world? In the US, they only had two cab variations with three bed variations.
Yes my good sir, I myself wish to own a four door long bed turbo diesel (my fantasy) or to be more realistic a four dour with a regular sized bed
Looking very forward to this.. Make sure you nail the engine, from performance to looks! Please... sorry, if you haven't noticed my username, that's why I'm so thrilled and hoping you'll get the engine down. Also, it would be amazing if you made some sort of turbo or supercharged version, and why not the VVTI version (although that didn't exist in the early 90s 1UZ's)
Great to see another Toyota fan here, For stock engines I'll probably do the 22R ( 4CYL CARBURETED), 22RE (4CYL Electronic Fuel Injection), 3VZE ( 6CYL EFI), and I'll look up the diesel versions for it, as for the swaps I'll do the infamous 2JZ, the sweet all aluminum 1UZ V8, and maybe but not sure the fall back Chevy 305 - - - Updated - - - For the trans I'l do the stock 4 speed, 5 speed and for swaps the W58 from the supras, and a secret 6 speed
Yes! +1 for the w58.. but Didn't the Toyota pickups have the 1uz in them? And also 3vz is awesome, but what about the 1mz? I only ask and am a sucker for it cause I got the es300 from 97. It was also based on the 1jz, but they didn't make it inline. I know the 3vz has a wider powerband, easier to mod and all, but I do love DOHC setups, and it's got more power once you get close to 4400 rpm and on. It's also awesome TRD made a supercharger for it .
I swapped my auto trans to a w58 after it gave up on me, and they didnt, but its quite a popular swap
Don't fret my dear people, I haven't forgotten about my project, right now it's on the pickup jbeam with adjustments, i have to redo the rear end because i messed up the whole suspension just to get it that low, the frame is done and now I'm working on trying to get the back IRS
So far I have (or at least believe) lost every file after my hard drive crapped itself somehow, I'm still searching all my flashdrives and online storage accounts to see if i have a back up of the mesh and/or the edited jbeam
Isn't that why people have beta testers? in case all the files are lost you know someone else has a copy? that's what I did with my city map.
