On Hold 1995 Ibishu Kashira (Gen 2) 3.1.2

Have you made any decisions about what you're going to do with the front? I've been thinking that it would look nice with a more slanted front end similar to SushiPro's Condenza/Aerovet.

 

Now I'll be able to make the boostedboiz van

I was kind of imagining something along these lines:


I can see about slanting the hood a bit more. I might have to adjust the trim a bit, but I can make it work if need-be. (*^^*)

 

Will it have twin-turbochargers and a tofu skin so I can tofu van? Lol, looks pretty good.

 

It'll have single turbos, definitely, but probably not twin turbos. It is a van after all... The UV maps also aren't really set up for skins (at least for now), but I may be able to just do a tofu shop decal for the door.

Will the V6 has a turbo upgrade?

 

Possibly, if I can make and fit a turbo model in the engine bay. I’m not really quite sure how I’d go about making a turbo model, but I would like to have a turbo option for the V6. Alternatively, I could have a supercharger option for the V6, and leave the turbos on the I4, but I’ll figure all that out when I get there. （╹◡╹）

At one point of time you heard about that everywhere, then it kinda went quiet, probably because of obvious reasons, it is perhaps not the best car mod ever invented.

Air intake behind the rear tire might give you some idea why it was not perhaps the best car mod ever invented:


That is one possible way to get turbo to V6 though. I'm just not sure what happens if you manage to crash so that exhaust falls off, is it even possible to disable turbo in such situation?

 

Since it's a MPV, is a 7-seater option available? Or it will be available in 5 seats only?

 

It’ll definitely have at least 7 seats, and possibly 8 if they’ll fit (although it doesn’t really look like they will). I’ll probably also include some kind of “cargo” variant that has the rear and middle row seats removed.

On the rear lights seen in your screenshots, I do not see a reverse lamp. I think one should be added.

 

Hmmm, I just noticed that, thanks for pointing it out! There is actually a reverse light (in the corner) but I forgot to center it. Should be an easy fix (*^^*)

PS:I think a unmarked police version can be added to this mod,because police department in Japan(your country?)use unmarked MPVs to do searches（搜查用覆面车） and that's gonna be interesting(～￣▽￣)～

Sure,Japanese can fit an AWD system into a kei car(shorter than 4 meters)

 

this would be perfect for monstere jam stuff, even though there's already a van it'll add variety

 

Maybe more coffee... but other than that, cool car!

 

I started working on a new headlight design. Ignore the fenders and hood and stuff, I'll fix those once I finalize the lights.

Also, should I continue these frequent, small, updates where I highlight the little progress I made for the day, or should I do something like weekly updates, which would be less frequent, but highlight more changes? I ask because I don't want to seem "spammy" when I post so frequently about little changes to the Kashira, but I also know that a lot of people want to see the progress on the mod. I don't really have a strong preference either way, I just want to do whatever people would prefer. (^‿^*)

 

Hmm, I'm really keen to that front end design and possibly make it little bit curvier for that aerodynamic van design.

 

Never been so hyped about a mini van.
