It isn't released yet, but if you're asking about when it is released I would assume it would be a whole new vehicle.
Okay, sooo a few name suggestions... Ibishu Karry (Suzuki Carry) Ibishu Liftback Ibishu Karryback Ibishu Iliad (Honda Odyssey, the Iliad was Homer's other Epic) Ibishu Karryall Ibishu MINIVAN HYPE Ibishu MV87 Ibishu Aeneid (another Epic poem) Ibishu Kazoku (Japanese for 'family') Ibishu Aquarius (named for the Apollo 13 Lunar Module. The name of the Command Module was Odyssey) Ibishu Tall Ace (Toyota TownAce) Ibishu Body Roll Ibishu FREE CANDY AND PUPPIES AND CHLOROFORM Ibishu Inca (Pontiac Aztek) Ibishu Runner Ibishu Astrostar (Chevy Astro+Ford Aerostar) My personal favorite is the Iliad, closely followed by Aquarius.
Because all names suggested so far are based from real manufactures, how about something more original, the Ibishu Tabi. Tabi meaning journey as Odyssey meaning cross country. Also, please do not abandon this project!
It looks like it's riding kinda high, and a more ramp-like look would be better, like a Renault Espace or a Ford Windstar. I also have an interesting suggestion for the name. Say you split this up into Japan models and export models. The name it has would be fine for Japan, but for the export model, maybe you could call it the Gaijin, Japanese for Foreigner. I do sometimes see Dodge Caravans riding high in the back, but they are usually later models (Early 2000's) Other name suggestions are: Windpace Grand Carrier Cross-trek Estar Kai-Hai (no idea what it means, just sounds cool) WRX (For the sporty AWD version) Aeroliner (I think those were made to be aerodynamic) Brickliner Distilled Perfection
I would suggest replacing the current front with that of the original Pessima, as I noticed that the current front is a stretched Pessima version. To use the Pessima's original parts would be very realistic, as part commonality is important.
I like the name currently, but I would want to consider a name that gives the vehicle a bit more character. Something like "Ibishu LifeCarry" or "Ibishu Sapling". (The sapling idea suggests life... because its a baby tree. Just a thought.)
Nice looking van. The high ride height is not a problem in my eyes. Mazda made the MPV all wheel drive van back in the 90s, and this kind of reminds me of it... https://goo.gl/images/mpLfcc
