That's awesome I've always been a huge fan of 2000s cars (I think bubbly american cars just fascinate me) I think the gen 4 (and gen 3) are a favorite of mine, out of many other cars
YESSSS FINALLYYY YESSS IM SO EXCITED YESS!!!! --- Post updated --- MY PATEINCE PAYED OFF! YES! --- Post updated --- can i be beta tester please? --- Post updated --- could you also add the facelift multipla please?
Facelift is already planned, this is already mentioned in the thread for the Multipla (Link is on my profile, also includes updated screenshots) I do not currently hire beta testers for my mods, sorry.
poopy! --- Post updated --- im a beta tester for a Ford cortina mod! but I don't think I will ever be able to actually test it.
As a station wagon owner (though my wagon is twenty years older than this one), I can confirm this statement.
Updated Wagon mockup with slight tweaks & hastily put together Coupe mockup (These are photo edits, not a real 3d model)
Love it! The shape is spot on! If it's not too much trouble, definitely make a tailgate with the license plate on it, and a smooth bumper without the plate, similar to what you did with the sedan. Great work! Edit: just saw the second design for the wagon. Its cool, but perhaps a bit too luxury car esqe for the pessima. I much prefer the more oval, early 2000s esqe first design. I think it represents wagons from that era much closer. Id definitely stick with the first design. Just my opinion.
That updated estate body style looks far better, more modern, and cooler, so does the coupe body style.
Which means either the model will need to be ported from ETK particularly or a full on texture overhaul of the Pessima. Also paddle shifters will need to be added too.
Yup, it looks like it will take a long time and those who don't understand or have experience will have difficulty in that part
The easy way would be copying ETK models to the Pessima base as a meshslap, the hard way would be retexturing all the way from scratch.
