    Soooo question:

If szantos doesn't come back, and the mod breaks, what do we do then? If it's paid, I highly doubt he will allow someone to post a fixed version online, since it undermines the paid route of the mod

If it's well made then it probably won't break, fully scratch made mods hardly ever get broken if they are made properly, I assume this is one of them because it must reach some quality standards to be paid

Why did szanto remove activity status on his account (eg see when he was last online and what he was viewing)

I think this is not going well

I would hope so, however, anyone can make any mod paid, so its not for certain.

However, this isn't his first vehicle mod, he also made the Ibishu Prodigy, so it can be safe to guess that with the experience most of the car was probably scratch made. That being said, with new game updates and added/reworked features, it could begin to work poorly in simulation, especially as old Torque3D code is removed and replaced

Torque3D has nothing to do with physics, that has always been done by LUA and always will be, there is no way the devs will ever make fundamental changes to it because it would force them to redo all the vanilla cars and props

Ooooh ok yeah that makes more sense then

Well as long as this doesn't rely on anything from stock vehicles we should be ok

It is kinda odd how distant he has been since we've asked for updates. Hope everything is alright.
He has spoken about a "next update" about 2 months ago but that hasn't really been mentioned since.

Yeah knowing the 5 year olds on here that probably dont know that thier actions infact can have consequenses, this doesnt seem unlikely.
I dont think that this, nor basicly anything on the internet could warrent that response. Really hope the people that have got a nice little visit from the rozzers :)

Doesn't help the controversy when a free mod gets updated more than a paid mod. I fully support paid mods, but what I do not support is the abandonment of paid mods without any notice especially right after release.

Szabolcs is usually active in blips, he’s not died or scammed you all or any of the other crap that people are saying here.
If the mod broke, he’d absolutely fix it- he is just not active all the time.

The idea that someone sells you something doesnt become a full time commitment for them to be working on their mod 24/7/365. They can have breaks.

    Hey guys!

Just wanted to let you all know, the mod hasn't been abandoned and an update is coming in the future. Can't really say when, as i don't have much time to work on it sadly.

I would also like to apologise for the lack of communication, i realise that this seems quite shady. I'll do my best to not let this happen in the future.

just got the paid version from gumroad, unfortunate to find that the automatic is just a tc automatic instead of the single clutch the demo had. is there a particular reason?

The reason is that it actually works properly that way because the "clutch" in the demo does nothing and there's a hidden "cheaty" torque converter in the powertrain anyway, idk why that's even a thing in the demo but it makes zero sense
