I created a small mod for the demo car which ports over the Bolide race coilovers, race sway bar and race steering (As the demo's suspension is basically a 1:1 copy of the stock Bolide suspension anyway...). Also adds the generic race seats. Did quite a bit of test driving, it's quite controllable. Move into %appdata%\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.27\mods\
Different folder name, so these parts won't appear. But the paid mod probably has some race configs anyway
Do you have a demo version? --- Post updated --- I wish Doug Demuro would play Beamng.Drive and review the mods, lol! --- Post updated --- Sorry.
I think I might make a few people jealous hehe I created a Cheeseburger per hour (Imperial) speedo and gauges for the Mondello. Idk if I should release it though if people want it sure. Still needs some tweaks here and there.
It would be helpfull if you give context about your issue instead of saying "huh?". Anyway, you either have a conflicting mod or you just need to clear cache
I had this problem too, if you have Tabbzy's tachometer installed it causes problems with the monodello and the centauri
Okeh, as someone who uses a load cell brake that requires about 30-40kg of force to max out, about as much as a real brake pedal on a road car, nothing completely insane here... Hardly above average. This car needs about 20-30% more brake torque, I don't touch ABS very often or Lock-Up without it. Even when equipped with the biggest brakes with full-race pads. Compare this to any vanilla vehicle in BeamNG, these are incredibly insensitive brakes and they feel soft as all get out. I have to push so damn hard and it just feels like it never wants to stop, I cannot even imagine what it does on slicks in this case, I didn't try them... I imagine the brakes are comically weak there. I prefer to setup brakes so they are softer then BeamNG defaults, but this takes that mentality a bit too far. I know it's a sophisticated vehicle, but I never even see a blip out of ABS at 30% brakes, and mostly never lock-up at 60%.. needing 80% and beyond more often then not to reach that level of brake force. Also the vehicle strangely omits power steering, however the general feel of the FFB on this car feels about 95% perfect and is better then some BeamNG cars even with power steering, so I can look past that without much thought. Suspension performance here is absolutely fantastic, surpassing just about anything and everything one expects from average vehicles in BeamNG, even more performance oriented ones. Not a bar hard to surpass, but this blows them out of the water, good job with that.
In the demo car, the dampers etc. are almost 1:1 copies from Bolide. So maybe a Bolide with wider/modern tires would give you the same driving sensation? I don't think that the mod does something 'magical'. Personally won't buy it until the headlights are remade. They make it look like an Automation car IMHO
