actually, on the ARXV20 and the GRXV20 SE model camry's were very rarely equipped with a manual transmission
Place the mod in documents/BeamNG.drive/mods Do not unzip it. A more comprehensive guide can be found here: https://wiki.beamng.com/How_to_install_mods I think he means subscribing to mods on the repo as 'normal downloading'
"camry.zip is an older version camry20.zip is the new version. " In large font right by the downloads.
Yes, some of your remarks are correct. The Camry trims did have more exterior and interior diversity (there was also a facelift, to remind you), but I didn't feel like adding too much content to a mid-quality mod at once. I do have proper interior colors planned someday, when I finish several projects of mine. Also the ingame description clearly states the SE trim in the mod is just loosely based on the real one, but it does have sports suspension. However, elsewhere you are quite wrong. The base trim for Camry was the Camry CE, which was later renamed to just Camry. The Camry's exhaust type depends on the engine, not the trim. All I4 models have a single basic pipe, all V6 models have a chrome double. I4 was the standard engine for all trims, V6 optional for all except CE, so the trim has little connection to the engine (although I4-equipped LEs and XLEs are mega rare). FWD I4 non-hybrid did have a manual, V6, AWD and hybrids didn't:
If this mod is ever updated, I'd suggest slowing down the V6. In the quarter mile, it's running in the low 13s at 108mph. In real life, I haven't found a quicker time than Car & Driver's review of the 2012 Camry at 14.3 sec @ 101 mph.
