If you want help creating the hybrid system you should ask Theo Wilkinson on YouTube, I think he could help.
honestly didnt add this due to me not ever looking down there. I can go ahead and add that if people want it i guess. eventually ill add these, gotta learn how the stuff works first though.
Any chance u could rework the headlights? Make the projectors have an actual cutoff, like IRL. If so that would be amazing, otherwise, love the mod!
Hey Spicy, I am a know it all for the P3 S60 gen. I see some recommendations have already been submitted. I have some more input to share. You got awfully close to a perfect mod but details like not allowing the "Cross Country" kit without some of the cladding and Polestar Badge placements for the T6 AWD logo plus higher rpms on R-Design/Polestar cars are slightly flawed. I can share some proper gear ratios too since I noticed the TF80SC was a bit off as well. Please, feel free to message me. I really want to help perfect this mod from an owners perspective.
The car is fantastic. An updated list of bugs already known by the author would be interesting. I noticed that: 8-speed automatic transmission selector lever does not move; The V60 Cross Country version has a camera position that shows a large gap between the windshield and the hood; The driving position itself appears to be too low; The brake light is very bright and whitish; If possible, it would be interesting to add the animated manual transmission selectors and opening doors; The wheels of the Polestar versions (wider) appear to touch the fenders. Anyway, congratulations on the hard work on the mod.
Is there a way to add Skin Support? Would be nice to make the Orange Volvo Crash Test Skin for both the S60 and V60
I have to agree, brilliant car, my new favourite, but with a few very minor issues... To be added to the list of "small things that are wrong with it": The wing mirrors have no collision, i.e. they just phase through walls etc, and can't be ripped off.
I think all the other issues i've found have already been reported but i haven't seen anyone mention the fact that the manuals do not have a clutch pedal, also the 2 litre petrol is overpowered
ill have to figure that out yea, ill try and do that. I do have to tweak the seating position, it needs to come a little forward and up. You aren't the first person to call it out, but I haven't gotten around to fixing anything since the release. the brake lights, ill have to tweak a little bit too, i am aware that they are very bright, but it looks leagues better than it used to look. None of the levers or pedals have been animated because I didnt think id go this far into detail with the mod originally, so I never thought about that haha, already stated in a post somewhere above that I do want to add that along with openable doors eventually. slowly working on that. I need to redo the body uv maps, since they are quite horrid at the moment. wing mirrors are attached to the door, but dont have their own separate jbeam. I knew about this but keep forgetting to correct the issue. ill have to add the clutch pedal for the manuals, along with them being animated and such. Gotta also go through and tweak all of the engine numbers and stuff, since a few people have noted them being off.
I haven't seen anyone mention this mod being outright broken on their end so I'll post this here. Yes, I'm probably a dumdum because I have over a hundred mods enabled. I tried deleting cache, standard and deep cleaning but no dice. I'm not even sure what these logs mean. Hopefully someone can help me with this. In the meantime I'll try disabling every other mods I have but it'll take a while to find which one break the Volvo. My apology if I sound rude. I had a long day trying to figure out how to get the mod working.
The "sendDriveModeToUI" error is mostly caused by this mod: https://beamng.com/resources/tabbyzs-tachometer.23222/ Try removing it if you have it installed.
Thanks, I finally managed to get it working. Should I reach out to Tabbyz and let them know about this?
Just signed up to thank you, someone posted a pic on facebook of this mod in beam and I never thought my boring volvo would be in Beam but you did it. Thanks!
