great! this mod updated! and also will we can have the S60L configs? there was a time that Geely and Volvo produced a long wheel base version P3 S60 called S60L for China market, I think that is a interesting spec and if it add to this mod can be add this mod more detail and can be more configs can be choose
Thank you to everyone for their feedback thus far. The reported issues have been noted, but there isn't an ETA for a hotfix at this time. As for potential future content like the China-built S60L, it is considered but not set in stone. Doing so would also provide an opportunity to tidy up the UV mappings for skin support. As always, take these with a grain of salt as it may take quite a while to even get around to them. I forgot to mention that Spiicy has updated the main post, but due to technical issues, he was not able to directly attach the latest version of the mod. Instead, he provided a link to my post on page 30 where you will find the mod, while also removing the older version from the main post. Some images are also broken, but they are only showcasing the features of the mod. They are provided below in case you want to review them again. Apologies for any inconveniences this may have caused And finally, I would like to give a shoutout to Simulator Adventures for briefly covering the S60 mod in a recent YouTube video! Though his review focuses primarily on another V60 mod on the forums (which coincidentally released a few days after I posted the update), I am still humbled to have the latest version of the mod featured, even if it was only for a few minutes. Skip to 2:44 to see the two mods compared. And before anyone asks, yes, Simulator Adventures reviewed this S60 mod in a separate video 2 years ago, though I would like to highlight this video regardless. As mentioned in the video, both Volvo mods are not exactly apples to apples in direct comparison. Admittedly, some aspects of this mod pale in comparison to the other mod, and vice versa. But at the end of the day, BeamNG Volvo fans will no doubt be pleased with more variety on the forums
Apologies in advance for the bump. I have an issue where this mod (and many others) suffer from texture issues under the hood. I believe it's because they are using the Vivace's engine model as a basis. After I spawn this car, then the Vivace, they then both have the texture issue. Cache has been cleared multiple times.
Thank you for informing me about this issue. I apologize for not getting back to you as soon as possible, as I have been dealing with my work-life balance. Additionally, I am still busy with the S550 Mustang mod revamp, meaning that I didn't have the opportunity to upload a hotfix until now. For those of you wondering, I have pushed out a hotfix that addresses the broken Vivace engine materials, caused by one of the recent game updates (0.37). The download is still on page 30, but you will have to download this hotfix separately and manually overwrite the few files in the main mod, as I am unable to update the main mod without the updated download link on the main post breaking (Spiicy directly linked to the mod on page 30, so it is what it is). I apologize if I did not get to fixing the other reported issues, but as mentioned, the Mustang revamp has kept me busy. Nonetheless, I appreciate the continued support for this Volvo mod
I have provided the steps on what to do with the files from the hotfix file on page 30. But here it is again for convenience: Though I suppose if you want some clarifications on how this is done, you first extract the vehicles folder from the hotfix .zip file to your desktop (it's safe to do so if you don't have a vehicles folder on your desktop). Then you open the main mod .zip file and drag the vehicles folder you extracted into the main mod, and overwrite the files. If done correctly, then the main mod's file size should slightly increase and there should only be one copy of the respective files. Again, I apologize for making this a bit tedious as reuploading a new copy of the mod with the hotfix applied will break the download link Spiicy provided in the main post. The concept of overwriting files should be straightforward however, and even if you do mess up, you can download another fresh copy of the main mod and try again.
