Allow me to explain: Because it exists in paid beta, anyone who wants to try to use it needs to pay to use it. When it fully releases it will be free. This causes an incentive to push back the release date exponentially to entice more people to buy the paid beta while simultaneously drawing out the production schedule of the mod in order to continue to drum up demand surrounding the vehicle while simultaneously not pushing it any closer to release.

In this example, you can see a large amount of work done onto the mod in the first stages, where initial support was heavy. As time goes on, each update gets smaller and less impactful, since there is less and less that can be added onto the vehicle before no more content can be added and it would essentially be ready for release. Along with this, the time inbetween these updates increases to draw out the schedule longer. This causes support to dry up for the mod. When the support goes away, the creator has no more reason to decide to publically release the mod if they where ever going to release it in the first place and leaves the project when no more profit can be extracted from it, moving onto another project and leaving this one permanently unfinished.

So, to put it simply, no

A time limit needs to be put in place or a certain update amount requirement to keep it in a paid beta, and forcing the creator to make the beta free if requirements aren't met. The way it is now, this is just trying to get around the laws keeping you from selling real cars. Surprised those crappy meshslap creators haven't started doing this yet.

Im pretty sure you still arent allowed to charge money for it even if its just a paid beta but I didnt bother elaborating on that
Yeah pretty much he did the same thing with a pickup truck and I think he is doing another mod now I stopped paying attention after he repeatedly fought everyone who tried to criticize him

Didn't mean to upset you lol,

I'm relatively new in forums, I barely chat here so I am not fully aware of the rules,

I didn't realize it mattered at which you decided to reply to threads,

Thank you for the clarification on the mod.
