I have made a basic crappy engine model which took like an hour soo yeah. Just imported it right now, any feedback?
I do intend to plan on putting this on repo aswell --- Post updated --- Hood closed: Hood Open: Current WIP progress of the engine bay.
I don't think this can go on the repo, its a trademarked car and looks too similar to dispute that. maybe just leave it as a forums mod. And I'm not trying to be a Karen but its literally the first thing to avoid when putting mods on the repo. Here's the guidelines if you need a refresher. https://wiki.beamng.com/Modding_Guidelines
I will --- Post updated --- Wait, a second also this is a edit btw, but the Mustang is a 1:1 copy so why can't this be?
Although the repository generally does not allow copyrighted content and trademarks, the author can release this mod on the repository (assuming it is finished), because the model is made from scratch rather than a port from a game like Forza or CSR. It will need a fictional name to be accepted, as Viper is a registered trademark of Dodge. However, the author has created one according to the thread's title (in this case, Gavril Python). Some examples of real-world vehicle mods that have been made available on both the forums and the repository include the Dodge Coronet (Gavril Gladiator), the Fiat Uno (Fait One), and the Freightliner FS-65 (Gavril CB40). All three mods feature scratch-made models and appear identical to their physical counterparts, though the only differences between the forum version and the repository version are the fictional names and such. On the other hand, you have mods such as the Ford Mustang S550, the Mazda RX-7, and the MAN TGS; those can only be on the forums since they use models from other games.
