This is a made-up race car/track day car that I've been wanting to try for a while. Going to be super light, employ downforce, and have a few engine options. Engine will be a Mitsubishi 4g63t With a few upgrades. Stock DSM FWD transmission, but the drivetrain will be mid mounted. I'm going to do almost all of the mesh work before I put it in game, that way I can locate my nodes much easier, done right the first time.

Anyways, here's some progress pics. I do plan to make a body for it as well.

Sweet! When you get it working in game, are you going to beta release it like the moon buggy?

I probably will, as I'm usually never truly finished with projects.

I know it's not finished yet, but... could use more polys. Doesn't look very smooth yet.

Other than that... this is bloody brilliant :D

When I saw that frame, I was hoping it would have a caterham-like body, but whatever, this is still awesome
    :D

The poly density looks fine, just that it's set to flat shading

Wait, dkutch, could we see a wireframe of that?

Reason why I'm saying it looks too low poly is that (from what I can see) there aren't enough... well, polys. Example of what I think the poly density should be:

It looks awesome but the terrain, roads, etc in BeamNG are filled with bumps and pot holes, so wouldn't such a low car have severe issues driving on the streets?

There are a couple problem areas yet in the body mesh, but because of my method of getting things in game, I won't really know how the smoothing is until I get the mesh into blender to edgesplit and then export to .dae.

Here's a couple wireframe pics though:

There will be more Tracks like the Nardo Ring or the small one in the Grid Map, made out of static Objects modeled in Blender or similair in the Future.
The Terrain capabilitys of the Torque3d Engine are a little limited while creating extremly smooth Gradients and Transitions between Gradients, which are longer than lets say 200 meter, or at least it becomes very exhausting to shape those.
And i think Cars like this one here are one of the best Motivations to create such Tracks. :D

    Excuse my Grammar n/or stuff.

You planning on adding a spoiler or designing the car to get the downforce?

Ah my bad, Meant it like this "In what way are you going to have the downforce? A spoiler? Or are you going to design the car for downforce? Or maybe both? I could just wait until you get further along and see
