that's not a k-truck, this is a k-truck: a kei truck, however, is what you described. (3.4x1.48m dimensions, and a sub 660cc engine.)
You could use a Minicab(百利) 800(The closest thing we have) or pronto(好幫手) 1000(second to best choice).......even an actual carry/PR-Z is better than a A190
UPDATE #2: Front Fascia near done, only need to touch up on some imperfections. I've been busy with school, per usual, but here's my most recent update. I've been eye-balling the front fascia due to the lack of top view, but I think I did a decent job with the reference images I used. I'll throw in headlights (i hope to have entire lamp, with the small details like those in BeamNG vehicles) when i figure out textures. What do you guys think? Any tips for touching up imperfections? I think I'll be progressing to the bed and back of the cab. I also started a model or two for future Saguma vehicles (tiny hint), but are bare bones and were just getting on my nerves in regards to ideas, but I'm 99% dialed into the Saguma Move (this vehicle, based on the Suzuki Carry). The bed should be pretty easy, so I think I'll have that done by next weekend. Please leave advice/criticism! Much appreciated!
It looks really good! The grill at the bottom probably won’t crash well in Beam, it might go spiky and look odd when crashed. It might be better to use a texture instead. Other than that it looks amazing!
Thank you Alexio! We'll only know until we try it out, so I'll leave it as is until the jbeam works its way in. If it causes problems as you suggest, I'll probably erase the bottom grill and just layer a texture that looks like it like you said. I'll keep this updated.
I found a video containing the engine sound of the K truck. I hope you see it for reference. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLGPe3IWg6nAqhfylOhOQN_CHG52GOKO8n
軽トラ k-truck (Kei Tora , Tora is short for Toraku(トラック , which is how you spell the English word "truck" in Katakana and it's spell that way because of Japanese Accent) で本気出 seriously (translated by google) してみた I tried to (translated by google) シリーズ series So , consider the content of videos , I think it means "Vlog series of hard and serious racing I done with my k-tuck." (And , just saying , I'm not Japanese. I just happen to be a K-car fan that do know a little Japanese)
#軽トラで本気出してみた シリーズ Translated into English, `` The series that I tried seriously with the K truck '' "軽トラ" means "軽トラック". To say "トラ" of 軽トラ in Japanese means "tiger" in English. Therefore, it will be translated as 軽トラ = light tiger. This sentence is also a machine translation, so it may be wrong.
Update #3: Sorry it's been so long since I last update, school has been competitive with 2-3 tests per week and sleeping through the weekends lol. But, I did manage to create the bed and some of the accessories. I'll be working on the other accessories and plan on moving onto creating the chassis and body part thickness (like the a-pillar/cab thickness). Any tips for that? I'm thinking I can extrude inwards to add that depth and then fill in to create what resembles a part. For the chassis, should I make it somewhat seperate from the model so that parts can be removable? Or can I save that for later? Or what else do you suggest I do with the body frame. I looked at reference images and it's a ladder frame but the cab is a strong chassis itself that's attached to the ladder frame, so I'd assume they would have seperate members. The lighting looks a bit funky in my opinion but I did recalculate the faces (Ctrl+N) and did fix some previous odd things. Any tips? Here's my images, hope you like them! Any advice is very much appreciated! Edit: Also notice the typical pickup truck ripples/waves on the bed and bed walls are not present. I didn't put them because I was told there was a texture map that is used to give the visual effect of there being ripples because ripples part of the model will likely spike or crash the mesh really weird. I posted on the content creation forum and that is what I was told. let me know if there's anything else I should take into consideration. Thanks!
Wow, that looks really good. As for the lighting, there is probably nothing wrong with your model, and smooth shading doesn’t want to work. What I have done to fix it before is delete the faces that have the funky lighting on it (make sure you click only faces when deleting, because if you just click faces then it might delete the edges as well) then fill them back in. It might not work but it has for me in the past. I hope that fixes the lighting
