haha you came well yeah but the author did some screenshots of 2 body parts. well, the first one is a hood cutted for his diesel v10 exhaust (yes, in this vehicular) anbd:nerd: the second bodiey part is his front bumper he made using the scult tab but this all seriously does not require a thread. he also posted a thread of an a4 with a gta sa mod stolen model and still yet nobody complanined about that ridiculous unknown example of abominance
I'm not going to be involved in any drama, but what I don't like about most WIP projects is that they end up getting abandoned, scrapped, and left to rot in a matter of weeks. Take Robert for example, most of his mods were left unfinished and has never returned back to work on his projects. Sometimes, it makes me wonder if some wannabe "modders" are making mods just for the sake of attention, money, and clout. These are just my thoughts and my two cents here.
IF someone is saying that they are putting an engine in a car that does not traditionally have them in vanilla they better put an engine model (even half-assed attempt with lots of clipping is still salvageable to me since I started out that way before refining my mods via updates). Again my point you can't convince people to help you finish up or perform breakthroughs in terms of modelling/jbeam without you having a good amount of attempts to get it working.
Take out the money part, pretty sure there's no monetary bit about what ive seen on the forum, apart from the paid mods, (which are done by reputable modders usually)
I mean, it's no drama, there is nothing controversial here. The rules simply state: the mod showcase sub forum is for just that, showcasing your creation (an existing, practically usable piece of made-for-BeamNG 3D design, not necessarily available to public but is visibly at the point of being loadable in game) and discussing with the community about it's further development and possible bugs/flaws that occur during it. The problem with these "I started up Blender and am going to make a car but not really" is that they clutter up the sub forum space and burry any actual relevant creations from being easily accessible. Since the 900 Series thread is usually quiet, it inevitably slips into like page 3, which means that anyone visiting this site for the first time will miss this really cool upcoming mod and be hit with a face full of irrelevant trash and be left with a bad impression of the community climate. --- Post updated --- Furthermore, it is unfortunate, I was interested in this concept. In theory, a smaller Vivace would be a contemporary 3/5 door supermini/subcompact class car that currently does not have a representative in BeamNG. --- Post updated --- While idea of a V10 in a supermini is absurd (the V10 would be as big as the car itself - and why diesel?), the super radically sporty variant could be depicted as something like the Toyota Aygo Crazy concept. The engine is still compact, an I4, but from a lightweight sports car as well as taking it's suspension and adding an aero kit. That way it is something physically achievable and slots in nicely with the other variants for a cohesive presentation.
