DON'T WORRY, the mid-engine thing hasn't been officially, totally, irrevocably confirmed yet. THERE'S STILL HOPE
I wouldn't be surprised if somebody wanted to rant on Chevrolet for the idea of an mid-engine Corvette, or the 2019 Camaro at any costs.
If you wanna talk about the Vette: https://www.beamng.com/threads/mid-engined-corvette.51475/ (credit to @Snikle ) but dear lord, please let the be some design changes before the ‘19 MY Camaro is out
The 2016 model, featuring a improperly jbeamed.. Well, you see it, the spiky parts... Not a fan , and ugly af rear end ruined it for me... --- Post updated --- It's better than people ranting on Ford for changing the Mustangs unique suspension setup for the 50th anniversary, which, coincidentally was when the rear was dramatically outperformed by the front, causing them to need to change it so that it wouldn't plunge into a crowd by driving by, yet, it didn't work....
It's not only Chevrolet's fault, but the blame goes all the way to GM, which clearly seems to care more about making bank than making quality.
GM meeting: "Hey we need to make our car not look like its from the 18th century" "How about we add a bunch of vents and scoops and integrate all the grilles together? Thats what Toyota does." "We could also put a 2.0L I4 in it! That will attract the Muscle car crowd!"
Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Wellll...................... Uh, I haven't found any real 'perfect quality ' in Ford cars, but always saw them better than GM I remember seeing a Chevy Aveo as a friends car, and after a few days the passenger side interior door handle snapped in half, and under all that silver paint is plastic, cheap, just raw plastic, which was the cheapest shit I ever seen --- Post updated --- Oh god no, God God no, end me now
I wish Chevy focused more on their performance like in the 60s Muscle race because back then, those muscle cars had just top notch luxury interiors, that feel more inviting than today's more economically designed interiors, the engines sound a lot richer and ultimately, I've seen so many cooler 1970 era Camaros than 2010 era Camaros, because they actually looked good when customized --- Post updated --- I wonder if their designers just watched too much stuff like Blade Runner and such when they where young and just thought that those weird ass cars were actually stylish
