MB has been doing this for decades. "Same sausage, different sizes" is a saying that originated in the '80s to describe the common practice among german automakers to style all cars in their range more or less the same. It worked, all their models clearly belonged to a family and were designed under the same core brand principles. The real problem is that now all Mercs look indistincty bad. Chintzy, overstyled and oddly-proportioned. Too bad Bruno Sacco quit. He knew exactly how to style a Mercedes and rarely missed his step.
Same interior as the other mercs with awful exterior,seems like mercedes is becoming worse every day. I miss the good old days of automotive industry.....
